I was just curious, when looking at profiles, I find that most dommes or switches do not put queening in thier lists, some even put it down in the hate or dislike category. So I was wondering, why is there such a large percentage of dommes who do not like this act?

I love it. But I had a custom built bench/chair thing made for me. Its not the most comfortable thing after awhile if you don't have something to help support you. Circulation through the knees gets restricted, back ache, you have to support yourself upright and so forth. Its great if you have some sort of bench or chair that works as you can then just kind of rest and grind around. I've noticed that there are more and more companies that make and sell them online. [:)]

I think "like" of the act depends on whether or not a Domme is going to be sexually interactive with the sub in question, kinda like strap on play.

Alternatively, there are also those of us who prefer to hold off on discussions of what we like sexually until we actually know the person rather than click off a bunch of things on a profile.

You mean people don't like facesitting!?!  That's the most fun thing in the world.  Being able to suffocate another with your "ASSets" seems totally enjoyable to me.  I jest just a little bit.  Well about the suffocation part. 
 
There's something humiliating in facesitting that sparks my evil side.  I do it with my playmates.  I don't know why more folk don't do it.  And there is no sex involved in that either.  I spose  there could be but that isnt the goal.

Some reasons might be:
Not interested in sexual activities,
Don't consider it "classy" and "ladylike",
Inappropriate for the relationship one is seeking,
Don't want to be wanker bait,
Want to be seen as more than a sex-toy/fetish fulfiller,
Maybe they have bad hemmoroids,
Maybe they tried it and didn't like it,
Maybe they have a bad back and can't do it,
Maybe they have a not so hot self perception because of weight,

There are tons of reasons why a woman wouldn't want to engage in a particular activity.
I've noticed a hell of a lot more Dommes into queening than into Victorian households.
Go figure.

Must be something bout Vegas? Course then again here I am in what is likely one of the biggest hubs for the lifestyle, and i'm still pretty new into it so havent done too much in the way of going to events...so...maybe one day, but i'm just going by here on CM.

I dont engage in Queening or Body Whorship (with the exception of My feet).
If I did do Queening or face sitting it would be with clothes on.As I have a
strict no touching Me rule.

For a pro dom oral sex would cross the line and become prostitution. (I think) I think a lot of ladies are interested in it, but dont list it on the profile, so they dont get aggressive subs campaigning for it.

Queening or face-sitting often turns into the sub attempting to daty (dine at the y).
Some people aren't comfortable with that amount of intimacy or closeness until they know someone better, some people will do it with anyone. Like all things, it can run the gamut.
For me its not on my profile (as far as I can remember that is...) because I don't want people coming to me just to try getting in my pants...literally.

I personally love Queening (with or without) a chair... though, I have wanted a Queening chair since the moment I laid eyes on one.  If only finding the submissive male to go underneath one was as easy to find.

I think that even if the Dominant enjoys it, it doesn't matter a whole lot if Queening is listed on the profile, or not.  Most males are going to LOVE having it done... and if it's not listed, it doesn't seem to scare them away.

Queening is a very intimate act, as it generally involved oral sex.  Although it is also used (anymore, that is) to also include facesitting./smothering, that is not the original meaning of the term.
As others have said, there are many boys who are into queening, and it is just another way to get oral sex under the guise of oral worship.  So many ladies will not list it, because it attracts the boys who just want to get between the legs in some manner of another.

One thing I've noticed is that male subs seem to make many more fetish-oriented demands of their dommes than female subs do.  A domme is a PERSON.  She's not a vulva between two legs to be placed on top of your face.  My guess would be that lifestyle dommes don't list queening because they're not interested in subs who are just looking for an outlet for naughty fantasies.

I'm halfway through making my own chair.  I found a real cute wooden adolescent's rocking chair at a thrift store - had a cane seat.  Cut out the caning, wrapped sides, front and back in cotton batting and taped.  Now have to cover with vinyl and put a sling beneath (along with a place to clip his cuffs).

I'm leaving it a rocker <grin>

That is SO TRUE!  So many male subs see a Domme as someone who will provide fodder for their wanking proclivities.  While I try not to come into the forums and whine about it, I do get heartily sick of it. 

You are right, too, that male subs tend to be more demanding in MANY ways than the female subs I have interacted with.

I actually marked "Hate It" in my Interests next to items that I do not necessarily dislike, on the basis that they were magnets for the wannabe's and wankers.
