The problem isn't that Muslims are easily offended or even that that some Muslims are offended by just about anything... it is that some people are offended by just about anything. Look at just about any group and you will find a minority within it that loves being in a state of righteous indignation, people who are not happy unless they can loudly shout and stomp their feet about how wonderfully moral, sensitive "us" have been wronged by the callously immoral "them." Well, to be righteously indignant about something you have to find something to be righteously indignant about... and such people will always find something... ANYTHING... to squawk about. You see it all the time in politics: "Oh, look what so-and-so said, how they wrong us!" Thus there is also an element of guilt by association in this. You need look no further than the Collarme political threads to find examples... "Oh, look what so-and-so from the other side said... this proves they're all bad!" [sm=tantrum.gif] At this point the squawkers from the other side come in to squawk about the original squawker [sm=slappy.gif] and that's when the entertainment begins. [sm=popcorn.gif]
