Needles, if your pictures are any indication, I don't think I'd even call you fat. Especially given your age.

Now, as far as the weight issue goes, it isn't just a "beauty" thing. It's a health issue. It's a lifestyle issue. Take care of your body. If you can't or *won't* take care of yourself, why in the hell should I waste my time on you? We're in the middle of an obesity epidemic and you people are certainly not helping things.

As a firefighter/emt I go on calls every shift, 80% of them medical calls, and do you know what I see? A lot of overweight people with medical issues that could have been avoided if they had taken care of themselves. There is no excuse to be fat. None. There is no medical condition that causes you to be fat. Slow thyroid? Work. Harder.

Yeah those damn Lazy cancer patients that bloat from chemo and the Wheelchair bound with spinal damage and especially those terrible people with autoimmune problems that allow their drugs to make them gain weight, selfish bastards should really just let themselves suffer and get ill so they can look good in latex.

And because I know you seem to have issues, that was sarcasm.

Would you like to elaborate on how chemo causes people to "bloat" exactly? Being in a wheel chair definitely makes it much, much harder but diet goes a long way.

And I don't care what meds you are on, you can walk for half an hour an evening and watch your caloric intake.

You have no excuse. None.

If that's the expanse of your medical knowledge, they need to pull you from EMT calls.  The first time you have to handle an emergency involving someone on steroids for various medical issues, you're going to have a lawsuit.

Steroids will not cause you to be fat. You taking steroids and then not adjusting your eating and workout habits will.

Wow, don't they make the firefighters in Florida go to school? Here they have to take classes like human diseases and biology. Then they don't sound like halfwits when they post online.

Most 18-25 year olds think they're cool.

When they mature a bit, they realize they were just assholes.

sweetheart, my age has sod all to do with my weight and i'm in better health now than i have been for years. know this, and remember it well, life is a bitch and sometimes you have absolutely no control over what your body does to you. it's not always about choice. also know this; alot of very over weight people are just as 'sick' as an anorexic, they are just the other end of the scale. i don't care how many calls you make and i don't care how over weight the people are. it's your job, you get paid for it, one day it could be you no matter what you think, and i hope the person dealing with you is far less judgemental than you.

even a doctor is going to tell you that you are wrong. it is not about working harder if you physically can't. you are being ignorant in the extreme. i am not going into my medical history, but it did make me 'fat' and i had no choice at all. i dieted to just try and maintain weight but it didn't help. my lack of health had nothing to do with my weight, my lack of health caused my weight. there is a huge difference. it is not the same for everyone but you do not get to criticise what you obviously do not understand. i suggest you do some real training and research before spouting your crap.

and something else for you to learn today, slim or skinny people do not equate health. i think any cat walk model shows that. not all have eatting disorders, or drug problems, or are prolific smokers, but i doubt there are very few who don't suffer something. slim people are far more likely to suffer brittle bones and arthritis due to a lack of exercise and correct nutrition. they can have bad skin, bad eyes and poor teeth. their hair may be brittle and thin.

exercise never stopped anyone dropping dead of heart disease.

I do not know the pharmacology behind why certain types of chemo cause water retention and bloating but when my mother was undergoing chemo she went from a size 10 to a size 20 in the space of 4 months and as the cancer was bowel and liver and the tumors restricted her intestines food was nothing to do with the cause.

I understand you may be in training in your job but you really need to broaden your base awareness as has been suggested.

This may help you http://www.chemotherapyfacts.com/chemotherapy-side-effects.html

Regarding walking for half an hour... hell if anyone could give me back the ability to walk for half an hour I would love them forever.

Jeez, not only are you completely delusional about your level of attractiveness, possess the maturity level of an infant, come to a kink website and whine after one day of being rejected, no doubt by many larger or older women, but now you are demonstrating a lack of knowledge of medical issues. I know many people, men and women who gained weight on steroids and chemo, so really, go back and read your textbooks.

Feel free to offer back some witty retort about how old, fat or how 90's my hair is. I feel badly that you have sullied the rest of the good firefighters/EMT guys that I know, none of whom display the lack the finesse that you do.

Yes, because to a number of people attempting to get their cancer to go into remission, the above should absolutely be their first priority.

I really do hope that you meet a girl who is just. like. you.  I hope you have your bliss, until one of you becomes ill, loses hair, or actually <gasp> ages.  Then it can just be a race between the two of you of how quickly one of you will throw the other one over for someone who is more physically attractive.

I know many people who have gained weight from chemo and steroids as well. Most people do. But I can assure you that that is not an excuse to be fat.

Let me explain it more simply so y'all can understand. I am not implying that steroids do not cause weight gain. What I am saying, however, is that when something happens that causes you to gain weight you have to take a step back and reassess the situation. Exercise more. Change your diet. Some people can sit on the couch all day long eating pizza and not gain a pound. For most people it's more difficult and it takes work. That doesn't mean you have an excuse to not do it. It might be harder for you than your neighbor but at the end of the day *you* are responsible for your health and your weight. Don't blame it on anything else.

As for chemo weight gain, I'll quote it straight out of a medical manual.

CHEMO WEIGHT GAIN

What is weight gain?

Most of us in the United States, and likely the rest of the world, are familiar with weight gain. It is very common as we age and, in most cases, is both expected and normal. However, some chemotherapy may contribute to weight gain. Weight gain after chemo may happen for a variety of reasons including:

Less activity. People tend to exercise less while taking chemotherapy.
Eating more. Some medications actually increase the appetite.
Increased fatty tissue. Some chemotherapy regimens may contain steroids. Steroids can cause fat deposits to develop (often between the shoulder blades). Some people also experience a round or full face. These side effects occur most often with long-term steroid use is expected and will go away once steroids are discontinued.

Do you notice anything? None of these are out of your control. None.
