No, I would not have ignored him.

However, Bin Laden was a charismatic leader, some are going to want to take revenge for his death.

However, considering there is no one in AQ that has the same charismatic stature, it will probably weaken the organization in the long run.

Just think about the money he got out of different people in Saudi Arabia by just promising to stay out. Nobody else is in a position to do that.

You know, I heard a special broadcast of Talk of the Nation this afternoon, and they mentioned that AQ was becoming increasingly marginalized, especially after all the recent uprisings. The people revolted without the AQ philosphy and demanded change without seeking to establish a Wahabist-like state.

In addition, Al-Arabiya ran a regular broadcast describing exactly how many Muslims that AQ-sponsored organizations killed. The number was far greater than our casualties to date, and could hardly be defended as "war against the infidels".

Clinton had Obama on a silver plate and let him go before Bush was even close to being president. He bombed an aspiran factory in the desert later on to make it look like he cared.

Sorry for the typo. slvmike didn't even catch that. That said, I am not an Obama fan ( as everyone knows)except for what he is doing in this war on terrorism, and it is a war. He kept gitmo open for a reason. He is cleaning up in Iraq, and he seems to have a committment to finish what needs to be done in Afganistan. He has high marks in my book doing what needs to be done for our national security..

what happened was they made the gitmo prisoners watch The View, over and over again, until they screamed for mercy. They gave up obama, or osama, or one of those muslims. So you ought to thank that joy beehair on that show for driving the muslims nuttier than they already were!
