19+ years ago. When I lived in Los Angeles, I seemed to get them all the time. I have not had a single one since I moved to Texas. Soooo.......pbm.......what is the meanest thing someone has said to you recently?

I think the meanest thing that somebody said about Me recently had more to do with the fact that it was a lie. Something about My world supposedly falling apart at the seams because I had a disagreement with a friend. Heck, the friend didn't even say anything necessarily mean. Of course, I think very little of the person the comment came from, so it didn't really bother Me. Sooooo, PBM, do you realize that you are better off without destructive people in your life?

very much so, but it took me a long time to realize it, and I have only recently taken the determined step to put that person out of my life... hopefully this time he will respect my feelings enough to stay there and let me move on. I'd be in deep serious without the technology. I dream of a past era when politics was a point of view ... which both sides could work thru and get things done. I never had a 9-5 job, so I have no concept of that lifestyle. I do dream of an employer where real ability outranks possession of a college degree. I'm tired of college idiots getting jobs that I wanted and was better qualified for. ============= Sooooo, Person Beneath Me, ... lost a job or job promotion to someone extremely less qualified.

never, in fact was once promoted to a position that didn't exsist, just because the manager wanted to get me on the management ladder sooo person beneath me ever had to rag out a superior at work for being unprofessional... and didn't get sacked for it (his face was a picture)

don't get cspan but I'd LIKE to and I love that Lady. (and don't worry, LadyPact, I know how good the writing is and the deployment of pathos in TWD, [;)] ) I will always grip about plagiarism-elements and calling ghuls 'zombies', however. It's my favourite vice: fictional narrative paddle-wielding disciplinarian. so, PAB, you've seen a live-theatre prduction based on a famous brilliant person and loved it. Like the Mark Twain stuff on stage, of the Teddy Roosevelt stuff, or Sunday In The Park With George (and how I can love that last one so much and be hetero I DON'T know).

Yes ... I've stayed out in the sun too long failing to get a clue right away. Unlike a couple of classmates, I did not blister. Sooooo, Person Beneath Me, ... has been to Hawaii for 10 days or more.

why YES! and loved it. AMAZING place. particularly the wildlife, and the underwater life. I even loved Poi. S, PBM, have you been to a mountain, in the USA, which is considered by Native Americans to be a "spirit leaving mountain", like Shasta or Taos?

sadly yes. a person who was not really a friend but wanted an "in" into a few studios. grr. S, PBM, while wqalking with someone else, you yourself have been caught out admiring the nates/culos/buns of a perfect stranger walking down the street. (maybe you even rubber-necked!)
