for awhile only ever heard terms online

and why r they only women

I know a couple of pro-subs who have been doing it 2 or 3 years here in the North. One is male, the other female. But from what they tell me, females are more in demand for some reason.

Pro-Dommes are pretty much universal all over the UK. Very few pro-Doms though - we submissive/masochist/bottom ladies tend to find it pretty easy to get casual play for free if we want it. It seems like guys find it a bit trickier - hence the demand for pro-Dommes.

What she said...I am on another homepage as a pro sub (though also do vanilla meetings) but was more active in 2005-2007 than I am these days...personally I couldn't care less about nsa, just not interested...if I would have been "that" desperate I would meet my ex over here and not indulge on an nsa level with a stranger...now as a pro sub at least both get something out of it, the Dom who wants a service as well as me who is at times a bit short on cash...cause quite frankly on a nsa level with a stranger I would not really get anything out of it than just a sour taste...

In regards to lack of men...yep, there are more men looking for services than women, heard that one often and on a personal level I don't see a reason why I should book a man for that reason...seeing how easily men from cm try to convince you to "test drive" you, there would never be a need to pay [:D]

the whole dynamic intrests me and confuses me at same time

do pro subs and dommes get out of it the same thing , i can see the domme side of it controlling but isnt the pro sub controlling the situation

what they seem to get out of it is money. It's a business.

None of the pro-subs I know have sex or any kind of 'fluid exchange', even of the 'safer' variety - they are there to follow orders and (in their cases) do pain play. But it's all negotiated in advance, and in reality the sub is in charge.

Ditto with the pro-Dommes, I guess, although on the other side of the kneel.

for these sessions they're 'bottoms' and 'tops'.

Both pro-subs I know are actually sub to their partners, but they bottom for clients.

Same deal for the pro-Dommes - all in relationships as a Domme, but they top their clients.

While there may be some element of enjoyment involved, mostly it's just plain old hard work, rewarded with money. Pretty much the same as any other job.

If you are good enough to earn money with a hobby you enjoy, wouldn't you do it? I don't know what you do for work, but I can tell you I love mine, and getting paid for doing what I like doing is just the icing on the cake. I don't have to accept clients, but if I do they are clear that they will submit to me. What's wrong with that?

Do you work? If so you are submitting to a boss, does that make you a lifestyle submissive?

You've been active on the London scene for a while? Bullshit.

If you were active on the London scene there's no way you could possibly not have come across Sir Stephen. Nobody (and I mean nobody, he's a 6ft something noisy redhead who talks to, like, everyone) could miss the guy or not be aware that he's a pro.

I flat out don't believe you. There are plenty of (pretty vocal) professionals on the London scene. Either you're really bad at observing things, or you're a liar.
