ORIGINAL: No. While the votes cast are secret every polling place does track who voted, it is a simple check to prevent people from voting multiple times. If a fraudulent ACORN registration had ever voted we'd know about it. Breitbart, O'Keefe and the rest of the right wing scum would trumpet it continuously.

You are welcome to waste your time trying to find any such occurence but I've done the research and there has been no such cases.

Except that polling place tracks who voted based on the voter registration rolls - which ACORN has been so busily filling up with dummy voters.  Which is the entire reason presenting ID has become important.  So that when someone comes in and claims to be I.P. Freely, they need to have an ID that verifies that's who they are.

Then go find a single one. That's all it takes one single fraudulent vote cast.

The simple fact is that very few fraudulent registrations survive the registration process, for instance in Illinois you get a card mailed to you when you register which is not forwarded and if it is returned undelivered your registration is challenged.

The fact is a lot of right wingers spent a lot of time and money trying to prove that one ACORN registration voted illegally and they never found a single one.

I think he thinks he can just change the words Ken,
hes trying to backpeddle but not coming off too well
Given the massive area that ACORN covers, trying to parcel it up nice n neat is impossible for them to do..as shown by the bumbling efforts to involve the Pres

And since you are all knowing, exactly how many states, and include which ones, allow a voter to show up, simply state their name and vote?

Now you're just projecting.

You made the claim they could do exactly that.

Now, back up your claim.

As I have already explained, being able to single out a fraudulent vote in a secret ballot election is all but impossible, without the fraudster making his fraud public.  For OBVIOUS reasons.

However there is this to contemplate:

Here's a map of voter demographics in Phildelphia for the 2000 presidential election

It details voter turn out by precinct, including the number of people the census found in that precinct, the number of registered voters, and the election results for that precinct.  What we find looking at these maps are all sorts of impossibilities.  For example, Ward 5, Precinct 1, which the census says contained 482 residents, 1159 of whom are registered to vote, and 496 of whom voted for Gore.  Or Ward 27, Precinct 18, which had 82 residents, 865 of whom are registered, and which produced 177 votes for Gore.  When a precinct with 82 residents, produced 177 votes for Al Gore, there's a problem.  Whether it's a record keeping problem, or a fraud problem, I can't tell you, and I won't be able to tell you and respect the secret ballot.  But ACORN's activities make it that much harder to figure out where the error is - and thus it undermines our elections.

Bullshit. It's real simple. Find a person who does not exist who was registered by ACORN and then voted. A secret ballot does not keep anyone from tracking who shows up at polls to vote. In the real world most candidates even send poll watchers to the polling places to track how well their GOTV efforts worked.

As to using 1990 census data to figure vote turnout in 2000? Get real. The census is at best an estimate and is notoriously inaccurate in the inner city. and 10 year old census data?

I realize your ideology is preventing you from looking at that map, but it was complied in 2002-04, and used the 2000 census data (the same year as the election), not the 1990 data.  It clearly demonstrates that there are precincts where there are more voters registered, and more people voted than there are known residents.  I can't tell you whether this is due to ACORN (or some similar organization's) related fraud, or an inaccurate census, but the discrepancies point to significant vote fraud, and can't be ignored just because you love Obama.

They prove nothing.

I'm telling you that people on your side have spent a lot of time and money trying to find a fraudlent vote that could be connected to ACORN and all they could do was fake some videos of a guy dressed like a 70's pimp.

I would like to see the exact count for the census in Philadelphia. Seems there is no census data for the 5th ward there, or they dont list it as such.

If IDs are required you cant vote twice, you cant vote if youre dead, you cant vote if youre not a citizen.

If youve got a problem with IDs for voting, move to a country where the elections are determined ahead of time.

WOW ... that SURE LOOKED LIKE real video from the legislature... And if you know anything about state legislative procedure, it dure looks like the opposition being silenced.... had me fucking fooled. Ed Shultz IS an asshole and let me say this... DOESN'T REPRESENT LIBERALS who had done their homework and declared themselves liberals (which I had done before the republicans began making a word which is the BASIS for this country ugly... But all that aside, THAT IS REAL VIDEO of a bill being rammed through congress. Been there dude... Also watch the news next november... it'll be just like florida in 2k a state police car parked a block or two from each precinct on election day to scare blacks off ... Or worse yet a diming out of voters (for unresolved legal matters) when they go to register in high poverty areas.
I know we are friends and all, but I gotta tell ya... things are going differently in differently in parts of the country... And what's seen in that video is a good old fashioned legislative rush move. Where it comes from is completely irrelevant ... except for the fact that I GUARANTEE NO GOP SOURCE ANYWHERE NEAR WISCONSIN has released any portion of what we see here to the general public ... It's fucked up and wrongful legislative behavior. As plain as a viagra as on a page about a rape case

BTW - this is CLEARLY part of this BULLSHIT trend throughout the US on the part of GOP Legislators to revive poll taxes (and don't for one minute think it's in any way related to revenue... it's about exclusion). Anybody here well read on poll taxes? I am (phys sci/ poli-sci UMass 77 - 81). I SUGGEST before you try to speak intelligently about this one you read Wisconsin SB7 and understand the historical debate (which has already been settled by a more enlightened, less activist supreme court than the one in place).
If you read the bill and and actually understand poll taxes and their history. you'll get it guaranteed.

Pick a ward on that map, then click the info box.  The census data is there.  According to the census 5th ward, precinct 1 contained 482 residents, 474 of which were over 18.  It then further breaks down by race, voter registration, and number of votes cast.

Seriously?!?  We know ACORN is active in Philly.  We know ACORN pads voter registration rolls.  And we know more people are registered and turned out to vote in several precincts than are known to live in those precincts.

Is it possible this is due to errors with the census? Yes.  Is it likely?  Not when this is exactly the sort of thing we know ACORN has set out to achieve.

It's called "GIS" aka "Geographic Information System."

FYI this system was developed by Norfolk State University, in Virginia, in conjunction with such evil right wing groups as the ACLU and the UNC Center for Civil Rights, and can be found at Fairdata2000.com

Problem with the map is knowing where to click, dear. I am not suggesting the information isnt correct. I am suggesting the information is alsmot impossible to retrieve if you dont know the area.

You can spew a bunch of innuendo but you still cannot put forth facts. Facts are what matter. There has never been a single case of vote fraud that could connected to ACORN. That is a fact.
