Yeah right, and I am too pretty for prison.

More proof that book learnin aint gonna make ya have any sense.  I would have paid to hear the conductor say "I don't care if you're the fuckin dean of Harvard, you dumb cunt, get off this train now!"

I thought part of being educated is also to be able to talk without profanities? I possibly wouldn't be offended if somebody would use the F word in a private conversation on the phone, but others might, and it's not exactly the language you should be using in front of kids.

Education is not proof of "un-craziness" or civil attitude.
It merely is a record of attendance, application and suitability to environment

Education and profanity have no connection. About the only time you could make a connection is if they're trying to feel greater than another person or group. Silly.

They were both drama mamas.

wow, how silly. =p she may be well-educated, but she's obviously quite stupid and rude.

I read this story and laughed.  I gave thumbs up to the conductor and his comment!

What is wrong with people that instead of just saying sorry, they need to get belligerent and ignorant when told they are disturbing other people.  I don't care how highly educated you are, when you are ignorant, you are ignorant.  Your education doesn't have anything to do with it.

i don't know. =p everyone has an excuse for bad behavior these days, instead of just owning up to it and apologizing or, even better, stopping it!

That's called getting 'being educated' confused with actually having class.

tazzygirl -> RE: Too intelligent to get thrown off a train? (6/18/2011 11:07:11 AM)

So smart she is dumb.

I doubt that she's well educated, a well educated person - that includes a rounded education - would know how to behave.

I recall a minor pop star (one hit wonder) causing a scene in a bar and then gave the owner the "Don't you know who I am?" crap when called to the carpet, the owner said "Yes, you'll be gone tomorrow, you're being obnoxious to my regulars, pack it in!" For what it's worth, the bar was the Sticky Fingers and pulling the "Don't you know who I am?" shit on an ex Stone doesn't make you just stupid, it makes you an utter twat!

pahunkboy -> RE: Too intelligent to get thrown off a train? (6/18/2011 12:45:53 PM)

^ agreed.  An educated knows how to behave.     At least to not use profanity in a public venue.

Mental instability has nothing to do with intellect...

I know a few people with quite above genius IQs with extremely creative and ingenious minds that were plain batshitcrazy...
