Yes, you do remind me of Miss Julia from romper room; albeit a much hotter and smarter one....[;)]

GhitaAmati -> RE: Who do you read? (6/20/2011 9:22:46 AM)

For the most part, I stick to the "I admit" thread. I dont ever read anything else unless someone on that thread specifically mentions another discussion going on and I go to check it out.

I have been known to follow Ron around, cause anything he says is going to be good. Sometimes Ill hunt down Domi or Jefff if Im having a random moment.

Years ago when I used to spend more time here I could have listed a bunch more for you. Now Im just here for the entertainment value.

LadyPact -> RE: Who do you read? (6/20/2011 12:59:28 PM)

First, I wanted to thank everybody.  I really appreciate that.

As to My own list, I hardly know where to begin.  Wait, I'll take that back.  If it needs to be altered due to them not being here anymore, I'll save the post and include the rest.

Mnb, especially the b.  Even before I met them, there was something about the posts that just said that there was good stuff happening there.

Leadership is one of the folks that definitely gets My mind going.  (Still think he should let Carol post once in a while, but I'm biased and not the person in control on that one.)

KnightofMists.  I have huge respect for him and I absolutely love that we do poly in different ways.  I am always fascinated with our differences, ability that we appreciate those differences, and be able to route for the success of the other.

OttersSwim.  Fantastic perspective on transgender issues, not to mention patience and welcoming attitude that seems to be endless.

Resident Sadist.  Kana probably fits this category, too.  Just plain fun to talk about evil shit with.

Sylvere.  I just know I could have a blast with that woman.

When Holly talks about parenting issues, I'm listening.

I think hausboy is probably the person I enjoy reading/discussing leather with more than anybody else.

I read more than I comment on political issues, but I always enjoy tazzy and julia's positions, even if we don't always agree.

CP (I'd spell it wrong, so cut Me some slack) I enjoy reading her for the switch perspective.  (I know there's more than one "CP" but I'm talking about the gal.)

Definitely poise and poreclain for beauty and grace.

LaT, not just for her insight, but also for her sense of humor.

VC.  She was always an interesting poster, but she's grown, too.  She's really coming into her own.  I don't know if I've ever told her that.

Jeffff was awesome comedy relief.

FukinTroll's posts make a lot of sense to Me.

BonesFromAsh who I have always enjoyed reading and is fantastic with digging deeper.  (I swear, if I ever need a researcher, between her and tazzy, I know where the resources are.)

Roch.  Excellent male sub perspective and when he starts looking again, I'll be sure to move to get out of the way of the stampede that is bound to ensue.  I could probably say the same thing about peon.

Arpig is a good read if for nothing else but the courage of his convictions.  You just have to admire that about a person.

There's more.  There's a lot more.  I get so much from a number of the long term posters here.  I probably missed dozens but there are a lot of good qualities of a lot of good people here.  Might have to look for it when it's surrounded by some white noise, but it's definitely there.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Who do you read? (6/20/2011 4:43:12 PM)

Joyful sluttishness eh?
Well, I am mostly happy all the time, so you could say I'm joyful. And I do have to admit to being pretty slutty. So I guess yeah.

I am joyfully sluttish! Yay!!

Who do I read?
Well Hanners of course. I'm required to. It's clause 12 B/13 of my slave contract. Actually most of the time she posts I'm snuggling with her, so I see it before you guys.

Arpig. I always hope he'll talk about his Ex and kids, I really admire that relationship. And his "cute stories" I know they never have anything to do with BDSM, but they are really cute.

VC because she's my commandant. Actually because I agree with her most of the time. And when she's being silly or flirty she's so much fun.

CreepyStalker. She's just a blast. I wish she'd post more. Such a wonderfully weird sense of humour.

LadyPact because, well just because she's LadyPact. You all know what I mean.

Peon, because he is sensible and silly, and can go from one to the other at the drop of a hat. And he's so very polite.

Rochsub. He's like my guru. I pay attention when he posts because I can apply a lot of what he says to my life and relationship, and when I do it works and things just get better.

GreedyTop, because she complained about not being mentioned. No, not really, I like her, she's silly and I like silly. And she just sounds like she'd be such fun to do stuff with, everyday stuff. Shopping, lunch, a movie. I can just picture being all giggled out at the end of the excursion.

LaT because she has a different way of looking at and doing things.

Sunny, because she is so helpful and nice most of the time, and she has a lot of good things to say.

Pahunkboy. I think he's adorable. And he is very strange. I find strange interesting.

Lilly because she has a lot of good things to say, and she feels sort of like a kindred soul to me. She's smart and cute and silly and sassy, and I like to think I am as well. I figure if I'm a lot like her in a few years, then I'm doing pretty well.

poise and Lucylastic (I love that name!). Well, because I love looking at their avatars. They are very different posters, but just, mmmmmmmmmm. (Sluttish, remember?)

Sylvere. She just turns me on. Sorry, its a purely sexual thing (there's that joyful sluttishness again [;)]).

Ron because he's funny and I like trying to figure out what he's saying. Sometimes it really is obscure.

The Bossy shoe lady, I like her! She says a lot of things that make sense to me.

There's a few I will go read because I just have to go see what ridiculous thing they've posted. I won't mention those names, for obvious reasons.

I miss katylied and justheather and level (level I am worried about and wonder if he is okay)

I miss them, too (and MadRabbit!).  I follow katylied's posts on Fet now and again.

I can't possibly post a list - I know I'd leave people out.  But there are several who, when I see their name on a list, I'll go check out what they've said.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 3:38:37 AM)

All right, so I've been debating this...
I'm not the only Sunny on the boards, so I feel kind of vain saying this (but I do post more than the other sunnys do.)....

If you meant me, thank you. I hope to be all the good stuff you all are saying. If you didn't mean me, then well... I hope to become all the good stuff you are saying.

best,
sunny, the shiny one

GreedyTop -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 5:27:38 AM)

*I* definitely meant you, Sunny..

and thanks Heather!  I think you'd be a blast to hang out with as well!!

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 5:51:03 AM)

I know I'm going to forget some people too so here goes: (and of course, in no particular order)

Lucylastic
Poise...aka Sweetpea
Stella
DRH
RS
DS
Greedy
Hannah and Heather
Arpig
Lilly, our own BoPeep
LadyP
LatT
Hausboy
RochSub
Peon
Hibbie
Sorceress J
Soul2Share
Old Hen...aka chickie poo
Fukin Troll, goes without saying
Lance
Kyttyn
DCNovice
WyldHrt

Since I mostly hang out in P&RS, those are the people I most see posting.  If I've left anyone out, my apologies, I've been awake for over 3 hrs and got 4 hrs sleep.  *le sigh*

BonesFromAsh -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 6:18:27 AM)

I read whoever and whatever catches my eye and holds my interest.

I could post names, but it would be an incomplete list.

Oh, and LadyPact...thank you. Research is my thing, sometimes too much so...if that's possible.

poise -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 6:55:09 AM)

It was very kind to have been mentioned in such a positive manner. Thank you.

I am eagerly including everyone that has been mentioned so far, yet I would
feel amiss if I didn’t include the following posters:

Agirl - I find her posts reflect a lot of my way of thinking, and I adore
her no nonsense approach, usually mixed with a good dose of her charm and wit.

Lizi - This woman seems to effortlessly grasp every angle of a post/question,
and her answers are always warm and kind.

Tiggerspoohbear - I like her fun spirit, and her additions to our
vocabulary with words like douchecanoe. [8D]

Catize - Common sense with a capital C.

From the males perspective, I would like to add to the ones previously mentioned

SimplyMichael – I like that there are no detours in his posts, but a
straight line to whatever point he is wishing to make.

Crazyml – I always get a sense that he is smiling as he posts, which
adds an inviting warmth to his discussions.

RapierFugue – He always seems willing to share his knowledge, and
has taken a few extra steps to help me personally.

I also wish that Level would return. It really IS a coincidence that the
last time he posted here was when I was offering him computer help. [:(]

SilverMark -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 8:44:00 AM)

So much of it depends on which section of the boards I am on. Here I just like reading just about everyone, and of course I am compelled to read holly's bald jokes at all times! If domi is around or the well known arrdvark, I have to see what madness they are purportrating!
In P&R, tazzy, julia, mike, lucy, owner, sanity, firm, real one, (fellow and pahunky, have to always know what is happening with the tin foil hat crowd).I have really liked reading OrionTheWolf here as of late also and willbe, musicmystery.

Yeah but currently she sadly isn't arround much, so you can enjoy your break from her jokes [:)]

No names mentioning here as I would leave out folks anyway, apart from that most of the time its the topic which catches me, less the people contributing to it (ok, maybe with the exception from our regular recurring troll-poking threads...but even in those I am not too often).

Like I left you out, perhaps because I do not see you as just someone I read on the boards

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 9:59:42 AM)

Oh jeez...I know if I do this I'm going to leave someone out, so apologies in advance!

With the exception of P&R, which I won't touch with a ten-foot pole, I read the following people for the insightful commentary:

LadyPact
Heather
Lilly
VC
RedMagic
Hibbie
Otters
LadyNTrainer

I read the following for the Lulz:

GT
Fae
NS
Arpig
FukinTroll
Hannah

These categories are rather broad and nebulous.  Frequently, people from each group cross into the other.  I've arranged the categories by the element I know I can always count on the poster to provide.

well, I try [;)] as after all...she is missed here [:o] not sure if you miss her more than your hair, but I do miss her here more than your hair [:o] (yeah I know...not difficult, considering I lubs bold...)

needlesandpins -> RE: Who do you read? (6/21/2011 12:45:28 PM)

i've never particularly followed anyone and being new here i don't really know anyone well enough to make the effort.

it's more the subject that will draw me in. but then that doesn't mean i'll read the whole thing. i like reading what julia has to say and i've been surprised by the amount of times i agree with her. not because i think i shouldn't, but sometimes because i'm thinking my view may differ to everyone else's. but i also like that she doesn't carry attitude like a chip on the shoulder. i also read LadyPact and LillyBoPeep. i've enjoyed bantering with NS although of late he's been a bit off. i really enjoyed reading FurkinTroll, his posts are usually very insightful and rather cheeky.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Whom do you read? (6/22/2011 3:20:07 PM)

That lack of "m" was making me cwazy!

I always read Simply Michael when his name comes up on the scroll or the list. I don't go looking for his posts like I do others, but he's always a wonderful surprise. and... He's simply fabulous.
sunshine

KnightofMists -> RE: Who do you read? (6/24/2011 7:19:37 AM)

I read everyone and sometimes no one.

my focus is on the content regardless of who is posting. Most often I am looking for different perspectives on a topic that interests me. One of the things I do alot is have Kyra read threads and get a summarized version from her. She tends to point out some interesting comments for me to read up on and every now and again.. she asks me to post on some topic.

But who do i read all the time... jus two

Kyraofmists and AlandraofMists.... that's it that's all.
