Gore promoting fewer children to curb pollution,

Hahahahahaha ... he's pitching what planned parenthood has pitched for 45 years... but cause it's your personal tormentor, Al Gore, it's a big fucking deal... how come you haven't been concerned about Kissinger's depopulation fantasies that have floated in and out of some very official circles since the 70s?
I read his paper to the WHO at least twice... it's bone chilling yet good republicans, even some who make a practice at nipping at the heals of the for Vice President, still invite old Henry, who's done everything in regard to population reduction, except pull the trigger himself. Difference between Henry and Al is Al wants you to opt to have less if you were planning to have enough to start a small company in some third world country. Henry on the other hand likes toying with the notion of  'aborting' full grown adults.

Good point about Kissinger.

He would only be hypocritical if he was advocating other people to stop having kids while he was actively getting people pregnant...

Calling him a hypocrite is like saying someone who was an alcoholic 40 years ago shouldn't warn people not to drink.

So if Rush started preaching against prescriptions pills, you would be ok with that? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe.

Why? People accept former addicts saying that sort of stuff all the time. People call Rush a hypocrite because he has said all drug users should be jailed but when it turned out he was an addict he did everything he could to avoid jail.

That's complete bullshit. That's not what the article says at all. So, either you did not read the article, you did not understand the article, or you're deliberately lying about what the article said. Which of those three is it?

I would commend him for that.... what I would call him an hypocrite for is advocating people with drug issues need to do hard time, like he used to do when he had his addiction

See the difference?

I said Personal Jet Aircraft. I meant to say Private Jet Aircraft. It was a mistake not a lie.

Julia... even if he borrowed it... do you have any idea how much carbon one trans-Atlantic trip puts into our environment???

"What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too."
-- Rush Limbaugh show, Oct. 5, 1995

Seriously, there are people dying all over the globe because there are not enough resources to go around. Famine and hunger are pervasive, even here in the USA.

In this country limiting family size while getting good medical care increases the likelihood one will have healthy vibrant children that will in turn be properly educated. There is no downside to this. There is no slope. All one has to do is look at the data, which will confirm what I am saying. Look at demographics from around the planet and look at those places where women have LOTS of kids and compare them to places where they have few. Then get back to me on Alex Jones' lies and deceptions because he has kooky religious ideas.

I do not think Alex Jones even likes gay people, why would you listen to such a weirdo?

Julia, that may be true but we in the U.S. are not responsible for what they do in foreign countries.
Oblunder said in his speech that we're going to do "nation-building" in the U.S. implying that we won't be doing anymore foreign aid .
What do you think, is he being "transparent?" Or was that just another bullshit speech?
With all the tens of billions of Tax Dollars involved there the lawyers, lobbyists, and big companies would be a little miffed if all the money were to dry up don't you think?
He's got in excess of $1B in his campaign fund much of which was given by the above.

And, does it make any difference if Gore rents, leases or hires private jets? He's still using them when he could be flying commercial like everyone else.

I thought it was some kind of cosmic justice when he found out that he was wrong about drug addicts and how easy it was to find yourself addicted. I hope it made him think a bit about his own attitude on the subject even if he never admits it to anyone else.

Oh for fuck's sake!

How many times have you challenged people to do that and how many times have they gave you his exact quotes?

But here we go again! I suggest you bookmark it this time to help refresh that feeble memory.

www.angelfire.com/journal2/davismi/LIMBAUGHISAFELON.html

Limbaugh on October 5, 1995: "There's nothing good about drug use. We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. . . And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. . . . If people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up."
