agrees God knows it can be anything. Now if i eat ANYTHING with a slight salt content i blow up (besides the normal md and pepsi fetish i have.) But migraines are back, again thank you. Yes that was a crappy website to send anyone to, but it is acurate.

It has become woefully clear that you are here to whine about your situation, not to find help in finding a solution.

You say you are "allergic" to ALL the available pharmaceutical options.

Well, as I somewhere remembered that medication has been posted before in regards to the OP...I had a look...

and in the "I hate it when..." thread (page 445, post 8898) the OP said:
quote:

may i ask what the pain pills are for? im a fibromyalgic if'in you dont know and take alot of meds all with drowsy side effects...no pain killers.. most i cant take and the rest make me so damn jiitery i wanna kill myself....but now demeral, and darvocet and tylox have been my friends before and somedays i wish they were still around...

not to mention the "What did you eat for breakfast thread" in which the OP states
quote:

9 pills and a cup of coffee
...page 5 post 88.

so yeah...she "surely" can't take any meds

In my world, my daughter always came first. There were times when I thought that I could have what I wanted, but when it conflicted with raising her properly, guess what got tossed out??? Not her, that's for sure. In my world, when you give birth & choose to raise the child(ren), that's your number one priority. You say that your going to school is necessary for your soul. That you're determined to get off disability & make your own way. Guess what? That's not always possible. Sometimes our bodies won't allow that. I'm going through that realization & acceptance right now myself. I've finally broken down & applied for food stamps & medicaid for the first time in about 35 years. Because for right now, every time I try to work for money, my disease gets exacerbated. So I can maybe work a whole shift & then I'm down for the count for the next week.

I'm learning to pace myself & to accept what I've been offered in this life. I refuse to allow it to depress me. I can go there just fine anytime I choose to & half the time when I don't choose it. So I pace myself. I make sure that I get enough rest each day & don't overdo the physical activities. I surround myself with positive people. And I'm learning to ask for help, as humiliating as that is for me.

So you can beat your head against that brick wall over & over & cry about your head bleeding or you can work with what you got to work with. And make sure those kids don't suffer!!!!

Well said...

in that respect it also shocked me at the friend which I mentioned in the past who believed we would need 3 jobs over here to survive....when in reality it was just her "need" to overspoil her son....

IMO what should be realised is that quite frankly if you don't give a shit about the signs your body gives...then don't ever bother to whine if your body heads towards a stroke or a heart attack one day...might sound rough, but quite frankly there are only so many symptoms a body can show that it has to be taken serious, until it can go the wrong way.

So in regards to that friend she can work around the clock as much as she wants and spoil her son rotten...however, if she believes it is beneficial to follow her sons dad in an early grave due to that stupidity (stupidity due to it not being NECESSARY in her situation, I don't blame folks WHO HAVE TO!!!) then quite frankly it won't be helpful for her and her son either!!!

During my final year uni I had times where I was not able to visit a friend who had recovered from a stroke...I simply haven't had the time to do so (sounds extreme but was a matter of fact, as visiting her with long travel journey meant wasting my time which I had to spend on studying, placement work or paid work) so quite frankly, sometimes it is important to prioritise....even more when kids are involved.

about three years ago. nothing. i have been borderline lupus forever, have some of the physical signs but test never shows up.
sometimes i wonder just what in the world is going on with this body, we call it fibro, but again when im down it seems like there has to be something more and ive been down for along time now. fustrating!

Might be good to run them again, and really spam the other stuff (my rheumatologist got about 11 tubes o' blood off me!)  Your titers can go up a lot in 3 years, and some of what you have could be from other inflammatory diseases like some types of scleroderma, Sjogren's, etc.

Posterior fossa problems (like a Chiari malformation) can cause effects like that.

I would be looking into eating more strawberries...considering strawberries

Lets clarify this I'm back into school not to finish my masters in nursing but in aesthetics a field I'm passionate about and its relatively quick to obtain. why? Because my being on disability is devastating to me. I feel like I have to so career choice that I hopefully can handle. While still being a mom. Anyone who has. Ever had to be on disability usually is embarrassed and deeply. Saddened by not. Being able to do anything.typing on cell.......

I have been on disability. I am currently disabled. I don't like it but I have to accept it. Sometimes ya just gotta accept the crap you're handed in life. And it seems to me, having read every post on this thread, that that's a major problem for you: you just won't accept what life has handed you. There are also times when you don't accept the shit, you change it. But what you are doing is hurting you more, not making your life better. I'm sorry that you are in the situation you are in, but you need to figure out what your priorities are here. They should be your health first & the health & well-being of your children second, IMO. Anything else comes after that.

You are so transparent Mr. Hot Shot Gorean. You are not here to help Tam unless it requires leaving me and your focus clearly is on me since you refer to me more than her in your helpful posts.

I'm posting this because tam won't. She considers you a pest and sees what you are attempting to do. According to your profile you're recent experience in home management and supporting a family is limited to a cat and as much as I like cats, we have two, it is not the same. So pack it up, it's time to go back to Gor forum my lad, find your own woman and quit stalking tam.

Yeah, not always easy, to tolerate the free speech on here and the inability to control who replies I sooooooooooooooooo feel for you once I find time for it

And here we go again...did we miss the universal admiration you believe the world gives to your girl...

fucking sake, grow up

*draggs it to Kirata and locks him onto it whilst he is asleep*

*just to make sure...he doesn't fearfully run away from the BIG BOSS Arturas who just spoke*

*goes off to bed*

Good night

I luuuurrrrvvvvvvv strawberries.  But!  They give me headaches.  Crazy, eh?  The tough thing about migraines is just trying to figure out which triggers you have.

Totally agree with LinnaeaBorealis on this one Tammy.

I think it's great your a perpetual student, but you have responsibilities, to yourself and your kids.   Repeating over and over again what you want, won't make those responsibilities go away.

Accept what you have, be grateful for your children and move on.  Instead of complaining that you can't do this or that, relish in all you CAN do.   Take a walk through a cancer ward at any hospital, see the young ones dying slow deaths, while hooked up to tubes...complain to them or their parents about your lot in life.

Quit complaining, give your kids a hug, listen to what the doctors tell you, decide what your doing with Art and be thankful.

Your on Disability, which means you may also receive medical aid and food stamps, if need be.  Call your local DSHS office, or find them online.  They will help you.  You might also be able to work part time, to help with income, depending on their stipulations, each state is different.   If you have no income at all, with the medical issues you have, I'm pretty sure coverage is not a problem.

Most DSHS offices also have lists of low income housing, or other ways to assist you.   Instead of worrying about school right now, maybe you should be making sure you and your children will have a roof over their head and food.
