I have talked with some friends who were at a Club in New York City and ran into Madonna Flogging a Guy Heavily. I Think Simon on American Idol might be because some one was watching it and head the guy make a remark that Simon knows how to us hand cuffs.

Sarah Brightman, submissive. There is a not so well known song she sings as a celebration....."Once in a Lifetime. "

She certainly looks submissive in the video for Phantom of the Opera...except for the eyes...the creepy eyes that never blink!

Marc Slaughter (from the 80's metal band Slaughter) must be into BDSM. The last track on their album Stick It To Ya is just a whip cracking and him screaming. Plus the cover of that album features a girl in bondage. She's strapped to a giant wheel at a carnival and has had knives thrown at her. Slaughter's second album was called The Wild Side and I believe it features some BDSM-themed songs.

Man-o-War, another 80's metal band, released a song called "Pleasure Slave" and the guys in Depeche Mod must have some involvement, too, with songs like "Strangelove" and "Master and Servant."

Queensrÿche has a few songs that seem to discuss BDSM behavior, such as "The Whisper" and "The Thin Line." So it seems that Geoff Tate or Chris DeGarmo might be kinky.

I also read an article recently that said Jessica Alba rented BDSM porn  from a video store.

And contrary to popular belief, Betty Page was not kinky even though she participated in kinky photographs and videos.

I recall reading (a coupla decades ago) that the late James Dean's private life was so "sick" that he loved nothing better than getting tied up and copping a damned good flogging....

Might be worth running a search on it....

i would like to know if there are between famous people (actress, musicians, TV, etc.) fond to BDSM, and if they are/were dominates or submissives...

Anyone know? :)

Well, first off.  The correct English usage would be "Dominates and submits"

Wait, umm, err...

Just watched it.  She blinks twice--both times when she's wearing the Egyptian costume, not the bridal gown.

The guy who plays the Phantom is a major dork.

C.S. Lewis, the Christian writer, seems to have been a submissive to the mother of a friend of his. I think the friend died. He used to do all sorts of menial tasks and chores for the woman.

Wow, i am impressed its sounds, ehem...great.

Patty Davis, Ronald Reagan's youngest daughter, wrote a novel involving S&M, and I think I heard something about her having an interest in it. I can't believe she's anything but a dominant if she's into it.

i agree!

Right. She blinks TWICE in the entire video. And I don't think there's anything wrong with the Phantom in the video. His mask just looks bad. And Raoul is ugly. In fact, I usually despise Raoul, but I liked him in the 2004 movie based on the musical.

        AWFUL movie!

Professional wrestler The Rock was consistently showing up in the ring with singletail marks a few years ago.  Lots of masochists in that line of work I suppose.

Actually, I just watched it again and she blinks three times.  Once toward the beginning, when she's looking at herself in the mirror, and twice while she's wearing that crazy Egyptian costume.

I still think the Phantom is a dork, but de gustibus non disputandum.

Where the hell did you get this info from?

What I have read and heard is that Bob Crane loved to pick up woman and talk them into having sex with him while he filmed.
A lot of drinking, drugs and pornography. He supposedly was doing this for his own sexual pleasure then rumor has it that he decided to start making money and got involved with a partner. Things went array and he got his head bashed in with his tripod.

The irony is pretty freaky.

I also wanted to add about Madonna....I think it's all for show and being seen at the trendy new hot spots fishing for new ways to re-envent herself and make more money. She did the same thing in gay club's and with the "Kid Clubing" scene.

From the documentary I saw about her last concert tour, she acted pretty submissive with her husband Guy Ritchie. One scene she slept on a bench in a Pub because she was really tired and Guy refused to go home, he wanted to stay and drink and carry on. The Madonna that presents herself to the world usually in mode with the newest "Hip Craze" would never stand for such behavior.

Dear WyrdRich, Ladies and Gentlemen;

In the vein of The Rock, with WWE (wrestling), there was a black female that was giving two white wrestlers (brother pair) floggings, gags and brought whips and floggers to the ring.

After the Janet Jackson's equipment failure, whips and BDSM faded.  But, there will be some elements of D/s in the ring--it is 'entertainment' after all.

Respectfully submitted,
Lady Hugs
