Dear WyrdRich, Ladies and Gentlemen;

In the vein of The Rock, with WWE (wrestling), there was a black female that was giving two white wrestlers (brother pair) floggings, gags and brought whips and floggers to the ring.

After the Janet Jackson's equipment failure, whips and BDSM faded.  But, there will be some elements of D/s in the ring--it is 'entertainment' after all.

Respectfully submitted,
Lady Hugs

Probably the best example of this that I can remember was when Vince McMahon brought Trish stratus into the ring and made her crawl around on all fours and bark like a dog.

I also seem to recall a Domme character in the old G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) show who had a male submissive as her valet.

James Spader, but not 100% certan on that.

Anne Rice did openly comment that she wrote the BDSM fantasy series  Beauties punishment/Release and Capture because she couldn't find any decent erotica that she liked to read (Exit to Eden-the book, not the movie-  is a another good example as well as Belinda)  I have had the pleasure of meeting her and  and spent some time talking with her,  lovely lady and now that I know a bit more about the lifestyle ( I was 23 and clueless when I met her) I could definatly see her as a submissive.  Since her husbands death  last year she has turned heavily to religion and is no longer writing vampire novels but focasing soley on  Saints and the church. Makes me a bit sad but if she is happy and it brings her peace I wish her the best. Anne's son Christopher Rice is an amzing novelist as well.

It's interesting how often TV shows flirt with the idea of BDSM, makes me wonder how many scriptwriters are into this!

KingDomUK -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 8:12:47 AM)

Germaine Greer: Kissing the Rod: An Anthology of Seventeenth-Century Women's Verse (1989).

Makes you think, eh?

angelface183 -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 8:23:19 AM)

Tabitha King, Stephen's wife.  Read her novel One.

babyblues -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 8:47:27 AM)

Wesley Snipes is a Dom....

also, i am convinced that Simon Cowell is a Master after seeing him interviewed recently....he spoke about traveling and how he allows his girl to carry his bags - if she does a good job he will allow her to fly on the same plane with him....he was not joking, or bragging, or trying to be an ass - he was speaking seriously (to the horror of the interviewer)...

i have never liked him better than i did at that moment....i have to respect a man who knows himself that well

I'm beginning to think the same- he was talking about his chef in America on "cribs", and showed what looked like a passage to a basement and said something along the lines of "I lock her down here if she misbehaves... which she does a lot, bad girl."

I was shockingly turned on XD

thetammyjo -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 9:25:13 AM)

Claudia Christianson (?spelling) most famous from her "Babylon Five" days was on that program cribs several years ago and she had several peices of bondage equipment. I heard that she has been seen at Ren Faires and such events and always bids it the slave auctions if they have them and wears a flogger on her left side.

Isn't the lead singer of the heavy metal band Judas Priest a leatherman?

xxmstrchasxx -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 10:22:46 AM)

Sharon Stone should be a Domme if she isn't.  Hell, I might even be her sub if she asked LMAO...well maybe not, I'd have to think about it pretty hard.

MstrTiger -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 11:11:39 AM)

Apparently there is quite a lot of evidence to suggest that T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) was into BDSM though I don’t think I have seen any that clarifies if he was dom or sub. There is some rumours that the Duke of Windsor and Wallace Simpson were into M/s play with him as the slave.

PAVANE -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/23/2006 1:09:13 PM)

Ian Fleming used to spank his wife regulararily. Or so I read somewhere.

i would like to know if there are between famous people (actress, musicians, TV, etc.) fond to BDSM, and if they are/were dominates or submissives...

Anyone know? :)

Celebrities who are into the scene usually keep a low profile.  The scuttlebutt around Hollywood is that Jack Nickelson, Harrison Ford, Whoopie Goldberg and, of course, Angelina Jolee, are all into it.  If this is true, then you'd probably have to also include the people they are dating or married to.  Oh, and Sean Connery probably is, because in that famous Barbara Walters interview, he said that he has no problem hitting a woman (which sounds more like abuse than BDSM).

MissArmageddon -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/25/2006 10:22:28 AM)

Frank Bough????? As in the British Frank Bough?
Noooooooooooooooo!
Really?

hmmm all the talk of Madonna has me wondering perhaps she projects the Domme image because she is sub in her personal life...kinda like playing dress up on stage to mask the real deal behind the stage?? what do you think?

She was in a movie a few years ago called "Body of Evidence".  The movie didn't do very well because it SUCKED, but she plays a very dominant character (accused of murdering her husband by screwing him to death basically).  She has a very dominant affair with her lawyer, but when he turns the tables, handcuffs her and takes her from behind, she is licking her lips with pleasure in spite of the tear in her eye.  You could almost picture the ballgag and blindfold.

Being a lawyer myself, the whole process of the seduction is fascinating.

spectreandnectre -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/25/2006 2:14:34 PM)

my guess lately would be Tom Cruise

keme -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/25/2006 3:16:14 PM)

Michelle Phiffer is a submissive... her husband (Dominant) did an interview and it was obvious their relationship. No I don't have the interview anymore... that was 2 puters ago

"NOOOOO!!!!  Not the PC in the butt again!"

well, there was a rumour going around... and i stress RUMOUR... that Michael Hutchence (lead singer of INXS), was involved in bdsm, and that something went amiss when he died, and was somehow related.

she sits debating whether to post this or not... she may get eaten alive for doing so... hmmm

Not sure if anyone answered, as I'm only into like the 4th page of threads?

I do believe what did him in was auto erotic asphyxiation. Good old breath play to reach orgasm. I am almost positive this or something to do with breath play was the cause.
I sure do miss him. Inxs rocked.

What about Jean Claude Van Damme, I wonder what the muscles from Brussels kinks are?

Retraction time, sorry about this. This article explains it http://www.dispatch.co.za/1997/11/24/page%2011.htm

I think the reason I thought it was breath play, was I could've sworn the rumor going around was he was into breath play, and this was the cause.

Michael  was awesome, and I miss him, and am glad they found JT  Fortune to front them now.

Again, sorry for sticking my foot in my mouth.
