Frank Bough????? As in the British Frank Bough?
Noooooooooooooooo!
Really?

Yes, Frank Bough, the former BBC sport presenter. Photographed exiting a Soho S&M club in 2002.

A couple of other British noteables into le vice anglais:

Sir John Mortimer QC (as reported in The Guardian, 21 August 2005): "The media have duly seized upon the fact that Mortimer once liked to have his bottom smacked and also, on occasion, to wield the hairbrush. Excuse me, but what kind of feeble revelation is that? Ageing, public-school-educated male professional revels in a sound thrashing. Frankly, the hardship would be in finding the ones who didn't."

Jamie Theakston (UK TV and radio presentor, and actor) - caught out by the UK tabloid press exiting various S&M clubs and parlours in London.

I also seem to recall a Domme character in the old G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) show who had a male submissive as her valet.

That would be accurate, her name was Whip. It was really funny because outside the ring she flew way below the radar and baked a mean double chocolate chip cookie.

genvieve -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/25/2006 11:00:49 PM)

i'm desperately hoping that Drew Berrymore is a Dominant and Rose McGowan is a sub

cynthiamarie -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/26/2006 12:33:05 AM)

Please...nobody tell me...*le pant*...that Alan Rickman is into D/s.

*Imagines that VOICE...*

I read the thread from start to finish...now I know why many of the folks listed were among my favorites. :)

<tries not to think of the glasses and the computer again, as I already hurt from laughing so hard>

I did see the episode where Jane Wiedlan had the dungeon in the Surreal Life.  Minnie Me could not take the heat.

Calandra -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/26/2006 1:09:29 AM)

I heard somewhere that Alan Rickman is Dom...

Ethan Hawke is reported to be submissive.

Colin Ferrel (sp?) is possibly Dominant (not sure of that source though)

Sigourney Weaver was mentioned as a sub once, and after seeing an interview with her I believe it.

I know of two others, from personal experience, but cannot name them because I would be breaking a confidence... totally took me off guard though... I would have NEVER guessed...

theprofitprinces -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/28/2006 2:20:11 PM)

probably half of hollywood is into BDSM...they are just secret about it hehehe

genvieve -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/28/2006 2:44:19 PM)

Good point, profit princess.

i do not believe W/we are as uncommon in mass society as we think.

bluffsboy -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/28/2006 8:59:51 PM)

Rick James is into BDSM.

If he's a Dom, then he's a pretty crappy one. He and his girlfriend were arrested in 1991 for imprisoning a woman and burning her with a crack pipe.

Lordandmaster -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/28/2006 9:21:54 PM)

Fast reply--I'm just wondering how people know all this.  Not one of the people I associate with in the vanilla world has a clue.  Maybe it's harder to have a private life if you're a Hollywood star, but I'd assume that if they don't want the public to know, the public isn't going to know.

Oh, too cool! Now I'll have even more fun watching Rumpole and "She who must be obeyed." [:D]

Dollbecky -> RE: famous BDSM people? (5/29/2006 5:43:19 AM)

How about we all say Alan Rickman is a dom ....if we all say it over and over it might cum true  it worked to bring Tinkerbell back right ?
