I have heard that Drew Carey is a fetish person - possibly Dominant, but maybe he likes being the pony

Joan Jett -

Pamela Anderson?

And I wonder about George Clooney - anyone that smart and good looking who is not married may very well be a kinkster - would not surprise Me in the least.

I would love to see just one celebrity do a public service announcement about playing safe.

Bob Crane was murdered - probably because his appetite outgrew his ability to be Safe, Sane, & Consensual.

I think a lot of the celeb folks that show up at "lifestyle" clubs aka public dungeons are doing it just because it's the in thing to do at the moment.  It's a place to be seen, yanno?  How many are really into it?  Probably about as many as us average joes.

I believe Ann Rice is rather openly submissive.

Actually, I was always under the impression that Anne Rice has said on several occasions that she had never had direct involvement with BDSM.

my guess lately would be Tom Cruise

Maybe, but in my opinion, he's just an idiot and probably more domineering than a dominant.

I'm watching What Not to Wear on TLC...a woman is trying on a pair of red shoes, decorated with a black bow and some kind of leather and chain type detail...she comments that they are cute if on the S&M side of things...to which Clinton Kelly says...that's not a bad side to be on.

Hmmmmmmmmm......

I have been told that Ann Robinson of  "The Weakest Link" is, surprise surprise, a Domme with a liking for young female subs and has been seen in BDSM clubs on the English South coast.

Oh WOW... did anybody in the UK catch Celeb X Factor? The moment Louis Walsh suggested Rebecca should "return the shoes to Simon" (they were ankle-cuffed 5 inchers) was priceless!

99% sure he's a Dom now!

I saw the new cover for Entertainment Weekly, and it has Vince Vaughn on his knees with his hands behind his back in front of Jennifer Anistent.  Seemed very FemDomme to me.

Kinky as hell, but not on either extreme....  S/M, not D/S, in my opinion.

Who was the actress who showed up on the red carpet a couple of years ago, sporting red fire cupping spots? Sure, she claimed she did it as a kind of "therapy," but I think it's pretty obvious that she was probably in a scene as a submissive.

I believe it was Gwyneth Paltrow, if I remember correctly. I don't necessarily think that means that she is into the "scene," though.

Maragret Cho has been to the Power Exchange in San Francisco often to "cruise" and some of those adventures even ended up in her rotinue in her (now classic) concert film "The Notorious C.H.O."  I never saw her play there though.

She could probably even get me to submit.

Marlena Dietrich was also supposedly bisexual as was Marilyn Monroe and several other Hollywood "A listers" of note. Some of the "hunkier" leading men of bygone eras were rumored to be gay or bisexual as well...ie. Rock Hudson (duh!), Randolph Scott, and Cary Grant, and Tab Hunter. Makes you wonder if any of them were into BDSM as well. Hmmmm....

She still is!  She's booked at a lot of the pride festivals this season. Giving away passes on her myspace page to the Dayton (Oh) pride festival.

I believe that you meant J. Edgar Hoover, the former Associate FBI Director. It is well-documented that he was a cross-dresser.

Yes J Edgar Hoover was a closeted cross dresser, just like right winger lawyer who went after gays and liberals Roy Cohn was a closeted gay man. One thing funny about Roy Cohn, he ended up defending Steve Rubell the openly gay owner of Studio 54 on (I believe) tax evasion.

Still I'm not sure if J Edgar Hoover was into BDSM just because he crossdressed.  He was however a peeping tom, he loved to record people he hated including Martin Luther King Jr and John F. Kennedy.  Supposedly he had tape recordings of their extra martial affairs.
