Yeah but leather is usually treated when taken from the dead cow, I mean anybody who'd poo on my nice shoes would be dead anyway, but I have stepped on occasion on things other dog owners didn't pick up and it never penetrated my leather walking boots (thankfully) so I think leather might be poo resistant...
