crap....so i'm guessing we go with liquid latex and bondage tape them into the box? or the more traditional duct-tape look? for that home-made bomb type box?

ravn -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 7:32:41 PM)

if we're gonna do this loki's forest style, might i suggest this and see what spins off your crazy, sadistic little minds? but remember, as it was my idea, i get to be the first one hurt!.....several times...hehe

gooddogbenji -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 7:33:02 PM)

I'm all for the overfull-suitcase-dropkick method of packing them.  Once they're in, it's okay if they get damaged - Loki can always iron them at the other end.

Yours,

benji

ravn -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 7:38:26 PM)

ooo...shoved into small spaces and drop-kicked...dammit! figres i'm red-silk.....stupid sex...can't be sacrificed or drop-kicked or any of that good stuff...lol...jk, this girl loves her MAster and would gladly give Him her white silk again if she could

gooddogbenji -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 7:43:24 PM)

We can always pack you up and send you to your Master with a note from our end.  Sound good?

Yours,

benji

WOW! Naked paintball!!! Only for the hard core painslut.

themischievous1 -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 8:19:37 PM)

That sounds terrific. I would attend if at all possible :) and I think it would be an absolute blast to meet the various collar me posters in person. I'll certainly do what I can to help organize now that I'm out of school for the summer. Count me in.

Of course, why else would i have suggested it? hehe....i'm into pain...of the external sort....although, the 'prize' when the girl is caught is good for those that fantasize about rape and the like...bwahaha

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 8:45:49 PM)

I checked...
I'll cost me about $600 to go to Vegas or LA, and only about $250-$400 to go to Atlanta, Miami or FLL.   $377 is not bad, but I haven't checked New orleans yet.   M

texasbutterfly -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/19/2006 9:00:45 PM)

i would love to come to a meet and greet.  anywhere would work for me i guess. money is an issue, so if we do really do this, i would like to see it planned for sometime in the future so poor people like myself can get the funds together...lol.  it sounds like a great time and i would really hate to miss out on it.

Vendaval -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/20/2006 1:55:36 AM)

For a CM Retreat at Camp Loki, I recommend also renting the
free standing sinks for hand--washing that are rented out by
port-a-potty companies.  They come in handy for clean up after
all that rough and tumble play.

At most Ren Faires and Burner Events, people tend to make their
own breakfasts and then do a big group dinner; some of the food
being prepared communally and some individually.  Army & Navy
Surplus stores have really inexpensive, sturdy camping gear of
all kinds; tents, sleeping bags, propane, knives, cooking stoves,
hiking boots, rain slickers, water carriers, solar showers, tent
stakes, rope, goggles, gloves, hats, paintball supplies, and last
but not least, the all important insect repellent and mosquito netting.

Blessed Be,

Well, in Loki land it is all wild. So you are looking at a good opportunity for slave hunts and captive play. I am sure I can come up with porta-potties at a reasonable rate. I am going to see if I can come up with a big cauldron for soup through the day and eve. I can put up a picnic spot and set up a smoker and gas grill. I can haul in about 300 gallons of fresh water and we can work out a menu. Either a big group dinner, which I would like, or a free for all.

Thank you for the nomination, MrMister.  I would be happy
to be part of the planning committees for one or more
CM Meet and Greet Events, rural, urban or otherwise.
(Cruise Ship anybody?  lol)

#2 meet in a major city, we do the planning

I think this would be the best option. And would go ahead and throw this out there. This would indeed require a good deal of planning and there should be some semblance of a commitee that could accomplish such. I hereby nominate the following for said commitee: myself, Merc & beth, Vendaval, Bluebird, LadiesBladewing, and of course anyone else who feels compeled to take part and can contribute something other than merely taking up precious space, which is where I fit in nicely. These are just my thoughts if anyone is interested.

Toma's de Torquemada, "the hammer of heretics", was appointed
during the Spanish Inquisition in 1482 as The Inquisitor General
by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella.

googling Thomasina Torquemada to see if I have just been dissed or complimented.........

LaTigresse -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/20/2006 4:57:35 AM)

Thank you Vendeaval! I shall take it as a compliment then. Now, about the kajira (I hope I spelled that properly) shipping.....have I mentioned that I have a large stock trailer (being a farm person and all) AND it is kept clean and poo free, I have camped in it with a cot several times. As I can comfortably haul 4 horses in there I am quite certain that if ravn's net method yields a large crop I could provide ample shipping capabilities. Since the truck is an extended cab I could easily get 4-6 (depending on said kajira size.....and just how "well" we all get along) in the cab with me.

Oh hell yes!  *digs out an extension cord* I'm ready! Besides I have a 70 HD sprint giving me headaches I need help with. *wink*

Wow, i have raced one of those ages ago, it belonged to a buddy who raced vintage class. Damn Scooter and i almost bought a pair of them on ebay about two weeks ago but they were too far away. I have tools in my race trailer, Master and i will help.

That does sound wonderful Vendaval. I will not be at my computer for the next several days beginning tomorrow. I'm moving..... Oh boy!!...or rather.....oooh boy???? I should be back online at some point the later part of next week. Maybe the 26th, 27th. I would like to email you (and others as well) and get some particulars if that would be okay, and see if we can get the ball rolling.

Thanks again.

Vendaval -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/20/2006 12:26:20 PM)

Hi LaTigresse,

I like the idea of the stock trailer for storage and sleeping quarter and moving gear.
But in the interests of safety, seat belts would be best.
No point in having kajiras all bruised and banged up before the event.
Not sure if you were joking or serious about transport....lol
I am really tired right now from working on the show, so if I am
totally off base, please let Me know. (yawn)

Vendaval -> RE: CM meet and greet?? (5/20/2006 12:43:24 PM)

So glad to have your expertise and input Bluebird.
What I was mulling over in My mind last night were
questions about insurance and liability.  I think if
a group of people get together and go to an already
planned event, that is covered in the cost of the
ticket prices.  What about if we plan an event
in a hotel?  Would we have to purchase additional
insurance?  And if an event is held on private property,
how would the property owners protect themselves?
Dungeons typically have a promise of confidentiality form
that also contains the house rules, house safe words and
DM informatoin, and an agreement to hold harmless
in the event of an injury.  In otherwords, you agree to play
at  your own risk.

In regards to an event that we organize at a hotel -
M&B are right on the money, work within the general time frame,
set the dates, and have deposits up front.  If there is not enough money
collected up front by a set date, the event is cancelled.
Because otherwise the planners take it in the wallet.

In this type of situation, I would suggest having a work trade/
sweat equity arrangement for people who want to attend but
are short on cash.  Many willing and competent hands makes
less work for all.

My thoughts for now.  Off and running for the shows tonight!

Without talking too much about my "vanilla" life - I am actually a professional meeting planner - this type of stuff is what I do day in, day out (when not tormenting willing subs ...).  But, I always tell clients almost EXACTLY what Merc & Beth were saying - all the "I wanna go to Vegas (or LA or Atlanta or ...)" comments in the world do not cover the contractual obligations, deposits and legwork required to get something like this moving.  The poll will definitely be helpful, but you can hardly get a family of 5 to agree unanimously on a summer vacation, and here you are speaking of a community of hundreds of anonymous (free) subscribers.  So, to repeat why M&B said, someone will just have to say - "It's in location X on date Y for price Z.  If ___ (quantity) of people do not sign up by the deadline, the event will be cancelled."

I am very happy to use my expertise to assist in any city, and if the selected city is Vegas, my contacts with the local venues to help find a location.  If you would like to discuss in more detail, email me here on collarme and we can review some options.
