ORIGINAL: marieToo Just a thought about collars with real locks on them (especially ones made of steel). I guess someone has already covered this but I cant help but mention the possible dangers if this is to be worn as an everyday collar. Imagine having to remove it in the case of an accident or the person needing some type of medical attention to their neck or throat area. As an alternative, you could always choose something with a clasp of some sort and hang a lock *pendant* on it. (Not the same feeling, I know) but something to think about. God...haha thanks, I'm clostrophobic enough, and i wear everyday all day a stainless steel locked collar, ya know the kind that closes with an allen wrench, cept its too small for a normal allen wrench..I freak out sometimes sit down and lift it up off of my neck, so its not touching my skin..just cause. It gets hot and when i get sick thank god Master takes it off. I';m ranting sorry its just that it brought up my exact feelings on the locking collar thing, but then again i feel the same about being in a cage thats locked. There is a stephen king book out there called "geralds game" about a guy who cuffs his wife to the bed in a naughty game, only to have a heart attack and die at the foot of their bed, keys in hand...on a lake, off season in Maine, no one around for miles...no one due for weeks...ya get the point im sure. For my locking collar, and peice of mind, Master lets me carry a key, in my purse at all times, and ONLY in an emergency situation can i remove it without His help. I have never had a problem. I also figure that if the hospital can;t get my collar off , then they shouldnt be anywhere near my neck...Bolt cutters would work
