Every car went to someplace like Kars for Kids

Which is a scam.

quote:

How many kids did you pay monthly for with organizations like the Christian Childrens Fund?

It hasnt been called that in years. They dropped the Christian part... tsk tsk... if you are donating, I would expect you to know that.

Christian Children's Fund, an organization that helps needy children across the globe, has decided to change its name to ChildFund International as part of its plan to broaden its outreach.
"We are now part of an alliance of 12 organizations around the world who have the same goal of working to help deprived children in developing countries," said Anne Lynam Goddard, president and CEO of the Richmond, Va.-based charity. "All members of the alliance are taking on the same name, ChildFund."

quote:

How many people have you taken off of the street and let them use your shower and fed them? How many people did you actually let live in your house or in your basement????

Off the street... 12, including children

In my house... the same number... and I never sent them to the basement.

How many people did I help gain a better life? The same number. One mother and her three children lived with me for three years while she gained her nursing degree. 2 years in school, one year at work... and she moved into her own house.. that she paid cash for.

quote:

How much work have you done for free??? I handle pro bono cases every year and have for the past 18 years.

How many pro bono cases does your firm require you to handle a year?

You come on here expecting people to swallow your stories, then berate, belittle and deman them when they question the lies you spew.

Get used to it.

C'mere puppy. :)  LOLOLOLOL yes...people are often animals, Tazzy.  The mere state of being human amounts to very little in and of itself.  Unshaped clay is.........dirt.

Now...to answer your question, I have ONE Section 8 tenant.  She was living there when I bought the house in '97.  Now...just recently, I did take a young girl from a drug rehab that has a kid and knows not where the father is.  Her father is a cop and I made him co-sign the lease.

Now...as between you and me...who is useless?  YOU ARE!! nah, nah na nah nah!!!!!

TWO section 8's are your vast experience??????

Keep digging, baby, your grave is getting deeper and deeper.

We disagree (again...sorta). People are animals, period. The mere state of being human amounts to NOTHING, other than those who fully utilize their biological advantages are the most capable mf'n animals in the jungle.

Don't be stupid.  The girl isn't on Section 8, her father wouldn't be required to co-sign anything if Section 8 was involved.  I have had ......................approximately 20 Section 8 tenants in the past 15 years.

We don't disagree...I stand corrected.  You enunciated it better than I did.  BUT...then again, I was talking to Tazzy, not you and I lowered my bar a little.

Why didn't she take you with her?  Judging by the life you describe, perhaps it is time you asked her for a favor?  I'm just sayin'...

Because I dont expect repayment. Its just that simple. At the time, I was also nursing. Many great vacations we two had.

My life is fine. Just hit a snag, which happens to many people you consider animals and whom you choose to sneer at because they dont live up to your grand standards.

tazzygirl -> RE: Almost everyone lost on the budget deal. (8/4/2011 3:19:16 PM)

Not pissy. I dont consider anyone an animal. Nor do I associate with those that do. Sounds a bit... ahem. Lucy summed it up nicely in my mail.. but I wont bring that up in any debate.

Technically, genius, people ARE animals.  But you can get as jerked off as you like.  Let me redirect you to how I feel in the posts I wrote to Musical on the preceding page.  If you are literate enough to read them, feel free.  I think I expressed myself quite clearly.  If you just want to bitch that I take a dim view of people collecting from the public till who are more than healthy enough to contribute and do not....then thank me for your fucking check. There...I guess that does conclude all that we have to say to each other.

cloudboy -> RE: Almost everyone lost on the budget deal. (8/4/2011 3:28:33 PM)

Republicans love to play hot potato. I agree with you, the graph in lock's post shows when the lending sky rocketed.

The truth is, not everyone is cut out to own a home. A down payment is a wonderful screening device. If a person cannot save up X% to buy a home, then maybe he's not really ready to assume that kind of commitment and responsibility.

Excuse me.  Perhaps you would like to tell me the year in which Glass Steagall was repealed and how much time Clinton had left to his presidency?  Perhaps then you would like to explain how the chart would not have skyrocketed under ANYONE'S presidency other than Clinton's.

The part in bold is VERY accurate.

New Jersey is one of the states where the Courts assign pro bono cases to lawyers. So you are still trying to make something you are required to do out to be something you choose to do.

hough unlike you I realize hardwork and personal responsibilty don't often cut it for many and I realize that just because someone works hard or is responsible there are a whole lot of other factors out of their realm of personal control involved in how easy or hard their lot in life is. Shit happens, the best laid plans fall apart, often it's roll the dice and hope for the best. Often a safety net is needed and unlike you I'm proud that some of my tax dollars go toward that safety net. I consider it giving back a little of my good fortune. My father worked damn hard all his life and died practically penniless but he was rich man in ways you'll never ever begin to comprehend. So keep on smokin your $25 cigars and driving your Mercedes and patting yourself on the back telling yourself what a fuckin great guy you are as you hate others for not being as you are.

You fool.  You don't know me.  How many people have you taken off of the street and let them use your shower and fed them?  How many people did you actually let live in your house or in your basement????  FUCK YOU  I am more charitable than you will ever be.  Every car went to someplace like Kars for Kids.  Every stitch of clothing went to Good Will.  How many kids did you pay monthly for with organizations like the Christian Childrens Fund?  Two for me...how many for you?  How much work have you done for free???  I handle pro bono cases every year and have for the past 18 years.

No...I don't believe in subsidizing failure and bad behavior.  If you had said THAT, you would have been accurate.  Everything else I have written about has been regarding making people that are healthy work for the welfare (not disability, not unemployment) that they receive.

I have said this quite a bit and I will say it here as well.  Charity is only philanthropic when it is voluntarily given.  When it is ripped from your fist through a confiscatory scheme of taxation, it is tyranny.

Oh...and here's a postscript for you; I DO smoke $25.00 cigars and drive a Mercedes Benz because I EARNED IT.  So go piss into a fan if you don't like it.

Oooopsss...double postscript.  You are wrong....liberal IS a bad word.  It describes a political belief based on collectivism where it is entirely appropriate to steal from a certain class to pay for an underclass.  It is the political theory of swine, oppressors and failures.  I would never want to be some low life piece of shit whining for a handout or a check because of my irresponsible procreating, my addictions, my lack of ambition, my failures in my life that caused, in the immortal words of Pink Floyd,  "And then one day you find, ten years have got behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun."  That is your political theory....and it is disgusting.

I'm actually laughing my ass off at you. Get under your thin skin a little did I..raise your blood pressure to boiling? Good!

I don't doubt for second that you smoke $25 cigars.... good for you. But better for the cigar company that cons you into believing the cigar you smoke is worth that..there's a sucker born every minute. So you earned it?? well good for you.
But I digress, you are the one on here whining, pissing and moaning like a little 4 year old about how your hard earned cash is being stolen from you. You are the one one here who calls others every deragatory name in your vocabulary for having a different viewpoint from yours. To me that lacks both integrity and any sense of honor or any self respect for yourself.

I'll give one though. I'm sure some of the tales of proof you rant on about are true. Of that I have little doubt. But what you present is anecdotal at best. (Now I hope that's not too big of a word for you to understand, what with you being a lawyer and all.) The internet is full of off their rocker ranters such as you who tell great tales of woe of welfare queens driving cadillacs and scumbags(your word) bilking the sytem and stealing your money. Does it happen?..sure it does and you have every right to be angry about that when it happens. But is it the norm? I doubt it. So here's my challenge to you bucko....prove to me through substantiated and verified facts and figures (no anecdotal or hearsay) from reputable sources that douchbagery, scumsuckery (as you so eloquently put it) are the statistical norm in our society for those less fortunate than yourself. Now if you're a lawyer as you claim you are, then proving what you so far have only anecdotaly asserted to be fact should be a piece of cake for you. The jury's listening, put up or shut up.

As for charitable acts of do-goodery I'm not getting in a pissing match with you. Suffice it to say I'm not a people person and my charitable inclinations are more towards animals. I've devoted hundreds of hours to our local humane society and I do animal rescue, mostly large breed dogs. btw..give yourself another little pat on the back for being such a great fuckin guy there sport. It's heart warming to learn you're not a total waste of air and space.

by the way dude, Pink Floyd's one of my favorite bands.

cloudboy -> RE: Almost everyone lost on the budget deal. (8/4/2011 3:45:51 PM)

No one would dispute the lack of regulation as a contributing factor in the crisis, and Clinton put some deregulation in place. But, Clinton did not appoint the personnel in the SEC and FDIC who were supposed to guard us against Wall Street Fraud schemes. You are trying to blame the maker of a car instead of the driver who roared it over a cliff.

Let me guess, you are probably getting a boner because Elizabeth Warren was blackballed from heading up the Consumer Protection Agency.

Are you happy, too, with all those Conservative Supreme Court Justices overturning campaign finance reform laws -- to help insure that the fox remains guarding the hen house?

To open up the doors of homeownership there are some barriers, and I want to talk about four that need to be overcome. First, down payments. A lot of folks can’t make a down payment. They may be qualified. They may desire to buy a home, but they don’t have the money to make a down payment. I think if you were to talk to a lot of families that are desirous to have a home, they would tell you that the down payment is the hurdle that they can’t cross. And one way to address that is to have the federal government participate.

thats the bolded part problem, and if you cant poney up the cash.......

check 2003 and on in your chart and see if you cant use that 'legal' mind of yours and sort of look into the past a little.

pathetically defending the lost cause with graphics that slay you is not the mark of the even way below average jurisprudent, because people actually tend to believe their lyin eyes.......

and you take a picture of the smoking gun in their hand and say, see?

and btw, if cloud had posted on this thread earlier than post #125 I need to revise and extend my remarks, cuz I believe he is a throat.
