Hmmm... maybe even take the "tribute money" and put it in a fund to buy things off of the wish list, maybe? Also, that is ridiculously nice!

When I was getting married, people (mostly of the s-type variety) asked me to put up my wedding registry... I was so confused!

The problem is the guys never come true, they just want to talk endlessly about it, some possibly think it's a good way to get a name and address from somebody if they're offering pressies, not worth renting a PO box or giving them a PP account that is linked to you.

Don't get me wrong, I love pressies like everybody else does, but getting some presents from a complete stranger would be somewhat creepy, if they want to blow their money, giving a donation to charity is likely to impress me more than something they buy for me.

Why on Gawd's little green earth give someone their address, or P.O. box to receive a "gift" from a total stranger? You could be inviting your next stalker to locate you, and, well, stalk you. I like LadyC's idea of making a donation to a charity, that way you remain anonymous and whoever donated is happy. Win-win situation I'd have to say.

Standard thing, I think, is for the bloke to give his address as well, even if the woman hasn't asked for it. That's what I do.

I think I respond to you about once a year, because I don't play your drama. However, when you were new, I offered you friendship and understanding. You don't seek the real... you seek to punish people with your take on all things domina and only prove you haven't a clue.
