Nah. I think this is an interesting topic to discuss. You are welcome to sit, listen and learn something ;-)

Nah, not sure I'm bothered. I'm a bloke, Lady A. I don't discuss, I just go ahead and *be*. ;-) (Well, OK, I would if I were to leave the house occasionally).

A lot of you are teetering on the edge of 'protesting too much'. And none more so than HannahLynHeather, I may say. Somewhat feeble, I feel.

I want to see 'blase'. Comments like, "I may be, I may not. Who cares? If *you* do, swivel on it.' VC stands out on that front. She's the real McCoy post, post feminist.

LOL, for what it's worth, I understood but just had fun rattling your chain...

Pooh.

Then why on earth do you spend so much time on a discussion forum if you don't discuss? Time for a little reality check, sweet pea ;-)

But those of us who really don't care might not bother to respond in the first place. ;)

Bingo!

To quote Popeye (the cartoon character, not the CM poster) "I am what I am and that's all that I am." [;)]

Agreed! If somebody decides I'm a bitch, that's fine, it's not really impacting my life and some anonymous person on the internet - why would I give that much person control over my life? Why on earth should I care?

Because I'm quite fond of women, and especially femdoms, and most especially those with whom I've spoken here at CM. But they - you - do all try to feed yourselves horseshit an awful lot of the time, and I *can* see it, no matter how much lacquer you try to slap on top of it all. I see the Goddess, but I see the schoolgirl, too. I'm sorry if that sounds patronising . . . .

. . .Well, actually, no I'm not. It *is* patronising. You may be goddesses, but you are also twits, at the same time. You know it, I know it - we might as well all admit it, and move on.

They weren't trying to justify anything, last 2 are still desperately trying to get laid, dunno what happened with Focus, there was a time when he seemed normal as for (un)Aware, if he ever meets a real subbie, we better make sure he's got a change of pants ready, but I'm sure he's seen a girl naked once or twice, there's a lot to be said for strip clubs, the internet, magazines, mixes saunas and clothing optional beaches - not to mention binoculars.

I can't speak about Awareness. Focus may be a Dom who looks like a torpedo that's had a moustache graffitied onto it in felt-tip, but he seldom gets truly aggressive, in my experience.

Yeah, pretty patronising and even a little condescending actually. Thanks for sharing your valuable opinion.

fuck you asswipe. i'm protesting too much? because i admit that i am exactly all the things that are meant by the word "bitch"? that's feeble? no you muscle bound twit, it's called fucking honest.

you know what i think the problem here is? <well other than that you've been getting bitchier and bitchier yourself of late - go get laid man>

you don't like us saying we're bitches, it bugs you. it fucks up your mental picture of dominant women. it takes them down off the pedestal you want to put them on. well fuck you, your mental image, and the horse you both rode in on.

what exactly do you mean when you think "cor blimey, she's a bitch!"?

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Do you consider yourself a Bitch? (8/21/2011 5:04:24 PM)

You said assertive, not aggressive. I guess you were joking when you said you knew the difference, eh?[:D]

And to keep on topic, no, I'm not a bitch. I can be bitchy, but when I do it's out of character.

And Peon, that is what makes you a more interesting man.  It's not patronising to see women in more than one way - I'd say it sees women as women.  If we have any scrap of innocence, wonder, awe, delight in us, it often is very child-like.  It is also a joyous way to be in the world.  Sure, it is more exercised for some than for others, but just acknowledging it even can be a joy.

I hope no one ever sees me as simply X.  I'm multi faceted.  I'm complex, I wear many hats.  That is what life is!

Best,
sunshine

No, absolutely wrong, you meat-headed shite-gob. I'm saying that you are *not bitchy enough* for my tastes. And more generally, I don't think women, as a whole, are bitchy enough *for their own good*.

Apology accepted. I know we aren't always on our A-game here, but in the end, we are all human beings trying to have a little fun while we try to figure stuff out.

Thank you, sunshinemiss. If I like a woman, it'll be because of all of those things, not just because she can wear high heels. I have a deep, wide and rich understanding of the ways in which I can be a dick, and I just assume that a wise woman will know similar about herself. Real angels, and real demons, are rare amongst women, no matter what they might think. In my experience.

I think the real problem is that a few women would prefer me to like them for the reasons that they *want* me to like them. That's only going to be less the case as I get older. 'Cest la vie. I don't doubt it's true the other way round, too.

HannahLynHeather -> RE: Do you consider yourself a Bitch? (8/21/2011 5:39:23 PM)

bullshit, i'm not buying it.
