One thing that I've noticed and don't understand... Why is it that 'skinny' people or 'beautiful' people are almost always portrayed as being horrible, nasty people? All fat people aren't "Jolly" and all fit people aren't "Nasty Bitches".

Some people are naturally bigger than others. My sister is naturally heavier and more curvy than I am. That's just the way we were born. Were I to gain a lot of weight, I would be miserable because I am not healthy that way. I prefer to be active, and if you want to cave or climb trees, you just can't weigh a lot. So being small works for me. It may not work for others, and that's okay. But let's not make general judgement calls on someone's disposition based on their weight.

It sounds to me like you are transferring your self-esteem issues onto others around you. It speaks loudly to me that you say that you are losing weight for your Master and not for yourself. That to me says that you don't love yourself enough to make those changes, and if you don't love yourself, what is it you think you are offering to your Master?

Not everyone sees through the same eyes. I would never be with a man who doesn't like me the way that I am. If my Master didn't like me because of a few extra pounds, I would be out the door and moving on. Life is too damn short to change things for someone else.

I in no way implied that, and nowhere have I recently stated any kind of opinon on said subject that I mentioned in that post. well i would like to put a about a nickels worth on this one....

if someone "HATES" fat people...just ditch him.....

If he simply prefers thin subs that is another thing altogether do to the activities that different people enjoy weight and size is a material thing...the fact that a Domlikes to do bondage and what i call portability activities (meaninghe likes to keep them bound and be able to move them around) well then a sub that out weighs him or is even equal to his weight is goig to make those activities difficult for him thereby making that type of body style not desirable.

there are those that love big busted women becasue they thoroughly enjy breast bondage...again its not hat he hates small boobs he just prefers large breasts.

i bring this up becasue i end up every once in a while having somone tellingme that i need to lose weight...my answer to them is..."how much do you weigh?, i then say you are right i need to lose exactly what he says he weighs"

I standin at 4-9or10 and my weight fluctuates between 140-160 dependingon the meds im takingat any particcular time...honestly at 140 I look sickly I prefer myself heavier I like my curves and all even at 160 i have a 29 inch waiste so when someon tellsmethat I want to just swat him upsde the head!

Wow... that was really far more hostile then was needed. I sorry if you take issue with someone making a comment about eating too little can actually cause weight gain (mentioning nothing of laziness) and then respond with "Don't let this turn into a debate on if fat people are lazy", I call you on it by saying you obviously just don't want people to disagree with you and you delve into profainity. Most charming.

You might consider it beating a dead horse, but others seem to be interested in posting to the different responses and adding bits of their own. It's not compulsory to *stick it out*, you know.

No, I wasn't making any kinds of opinions up there, I was making an observation over the relatively obvious course that this particular thread/topic has taken in the past, and I foresaw that those particular comments I was responding to -could- steer someone else into starting yet another flame war regarding the laziness issue.

In no way did I make it -my- opinion.

And yes, I do think that we're beating a dead horse, but I also think that this can be easily maneuvered into a -new- thread with a bit more specific of a topic, which would be very interesting to read, but would be more appropriate in the Off Topic forums as it no long really has much to do with BDSM.

I'm not speaking for others, I'm speaking for me, and I'd rather keep it at -me- speaking for me, and not other people putting words in my mouth, and though I apologize for letting the mood that my pain put me in, I do not apologize for the stand-up-for-myself attitude that I invested in that post.

I don't appreciate people shoving things into my mouth that I didn't ask for, and generally, I only ask the boyfriend for things like that. *smiles*

If this response was supposed to be ironic or illustrative, it isn't. It makes perfect sense to me. Everyone has preferences, everyone has a lifestyle they want to live and a view of the partner that can help them do it. I woudln;t be the least bit insulted by someone judging me on my sucess.

I have never understood the concept of unearned adoration or love. But then, I am pretty Randian / Objectivist that way.

On a more primal level males and females have evolved to (by and large) look for specific traits in the other. This is common, cross cultural and cross era but of course not universal. As with so many evolutionary traits it is a tendancy across populations. This tendancy is simple, males are lookign for females with good genetics and females are generally looking for the same in males... but the standardss differ. Men look for women who are good looking, and women look for men who can provide resources. Of course its more complex than that but those elements are deeply rooted.

In other words, it makes perfect sense to me that someone evaluating me as someone who is worth serving would wonder what I make jsut as it makes perfect sense to me that among other things I want to know how they look.

My comment said that a) getting fat doesn't actually shrink the penis. It makes it look smaller. b) that is you undereat you can actually gain weight. You snapped back about how I shouldn't let the thread go into a direction about lazy vs. not lazy.

I don't even see a bloody connection! Not eating enough isn't lazy, nor is it unlazy! Neither is penis shrinkage (there is a sentence you don't hear every day)! You said fat was a result of lack of self-control, I commented one can gain weight by not eating enough but still eating. This is very dependend on what food is being eaten but it is a sad fact of life.

You jumping on me about how we shouldn't let this get into laziness just doesn't make sense. And honestly, if all I say is "hey, penis doesn't actually shrink and hey you can gain weight by not eating enough" and you respond like that... It really does look like you just don't want anyone commenting who doesn't agree with you. I understand you are in pain and perhaps you snapped a bit harder then you meant to, but that is the way it looks.

lol this is the never ending discussion..which I can't really understand why..I mean
people are tall short fat thin obese anorexic....some people like them tall others short others fat n others thing it's all a matter of preference so what is the probleeeeeeemoooooo????
