what about wet-wipes? They have to be better than hiding the stench under some wannabe-soap-substitute.

i was under the impression that waterless soap cleaned, not just hid oders, am I wrong.

Yes, if that's all it did, then wet wipes it'd be.

Just want to make a quick note that the link given above does say something that is wrong. That being that waterless cleansers can not remove dirt and grim. There are a few that can, but because they are intended to remove things one would commonly get on their hands if they worked in an auto shop(gease, tar, paint) you really never want to use them on tender areas of the body. They will burn and in some cases can poison.

Back to the op....if you are talking for simple home use, or quick things that might need cleaned up before or after sex, I would suggest investing in something like Kendall Wings. They are wipes used in many hospitals, and do a little better cleaning than just baby wipes. You can even buy them on ebay.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kendall-6599N-Wings-Personal-Cleansing-Washcloths-Wipes-/130431992431?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0 They may seem pricey at first but trust me they aren't. As someone that has spent a lot of time in a hospital I can tell you first hand you can take a bath with these things.

I know I'm gonna kick myself for asking it, but...why? Why can't he get to a shower, bath or even a sink with a washclothe at least once a day? I've been trying to figure it out, and there's only two things I can come up with; homelessness, or your water got turned off. When I lived in a pre-civil war house, sometimes my shower would not work, I had a YMCA membership so just worked out every day and then showered.

It's more like if you ever are out of touch with civilazation and or carrying a wash rag isn't practical, like if your doing hard labour all day an worry bout keeping a little bit fresh, or camping, you know the kind where you're
actually in the wilderness with no sweet little sites with toilets, or showers. Or rv hook ups .

That's one example of unable to bathe right. I'd likei those wipes someone else mentioned too. Keep a few in my purse, then on those ungodly hot days where ya melt the moment you step outside, to freshen up on days ya're outside all day with no relief from pouring sweat from every inch of yaself.

So are most waterless soaps basically those alcoholic hand sanitizers some ppl are always putting on their hands to eliminate germs.

To be honest , too, I also thought it might be handy and intimate before sex if you were being spontanious and or a shower wasn't avail, and wash cloth sponge baths are aqward , and they or you might need just a tiny bit offreshening up, to have some kind of safe soap alternative, and kind of make it a part of 4 play and clean him up a bit before sex.could even make it kind of erotic.

Tfb. Do a search for waterless body wash or waterless shampoo. Try no rise as well. They come in a lot of forms other than just hand sanitizers.

My personal favorite for camping is Wetones (http://www.wetones.com/). The antibacterial version. From a guy perspective I have used it to clean up (including below the belt front and back) with no problems. The fact that they were designed for cleaning baby bottoms to begin with mean they are gentle. I am sure someone this board though will find they are allergic to them :)

If you are camping and a lake or river is nearby, don't be afraid to jump in, it's better than nothing. If you move fast, the leeches won't have time to attach......

if you're going to do the roughing it type of camping you're going to be taking along water anyway so you aren't dehydrated, for cooking, etc....so wouldn't you just use some of that to clean yourself up? I know I would but then again I don't ever ever go roughing it. <shudders at the very thought>
