I'm watching Brad Meltzer's Decoded on the History Channel about the Georgian Guidestones. I'd never heard about them prior to this show. Interesting, but sounds like a forum for Brad to gather ideas for future books. ;)

the Georgian Guidestones

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
Unite humanity with a living new language.
Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
Balance personal rights with social duties.
Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Why would it surprise me. There are stupid cops and soldiers galore. To be honest the stupidest people I have ever met have been in the military.

What I think is marvelous is that the Internet has been able to link all of you 'uniquely enabled' types together. This eliminating all that messy signalling you guy has to do to each other on the news with all that barricading in houses and gun play.

People offer all the time, but he's not very gracious about it.
And there was that halloween where he went as Captain Jean Luc Piccard gone Borg and he put the eye piece on with crazy glue.... that wasn't too well thought out.

I think, if by useless officials they mean the current governments of most nations, this is one guide that should be taken to heart TODAY!!

erieangel -> RE: A Show for the Foil Hat Wearers :D (9/24/2011 11:06:00 AM)

These guidelines seem remarkable and logical.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: A Show for the Foil Hat Wearers :D (9/24/2011 11:15:16 AM)

Indeed but sadly I don't think it would work to introduce them to our world the way it is now. We are too used to things the way they are now and it would involve changing too much of our mindset. Pity.

Mom always said not to play ball in the house.
