I like hearing "good girl", but I suppose at my age that's not really very surprising.

i suspect the term "good boy" is used and accepted by many submissives is because it is somewhat condesending and implies the sub is under the control of the Domme and accepts its status.

i can't speak for others, but it does define my position and responsibility to obey and follow the Dommes instructions as best able to. hearing a "good boy" implies i am behaving properly and pleasing my Domme as i should be. i don't get offended in the least.

Well yes, of course!! There is ONE person who gets a free pass on that, because he's my buddy, a Leatherman, and almost as old as my dad. He calls me "good girl", I go pinch his cheeks and kiss him and tell him how cute he is. It works.

I find the word "fluffy" has to be reserved for a select few Dominants.

I tried it once with Master.

When I have one, I call them "My pet" but of course I do 24/7 slave/pet and not part time subs. If I call them by name then they know they've done wrong and might end up punished. Many times after some time together, just calling them by name is punishment enough.

A dominant girlfriend of mine used to call me "boy" all of the time, as in "good boy" and such. I never took it to feel like she was treating me as a lesser than her, and she never meant it that way either. For her, it was a token of friendship and respect. She didn't call other guys that but did so to me because I was special in her life.

She still talks to me from time to time on the phone (we live far from each other these days), and she still calls me that, and it's always meant as friendly and respectful.

If the right person says good boy, it sounds cute, and I like it.
If the wrong person says it, it annoys me.

Calling someone a good boy or girl is just a tease, for fun, and a cute way of fun but not everyone can make fun of me so it really depends on who I am with.

Naming someone just girl or boy is not a crime if you ask me? When in a relation my girl might be my dominant.. but she is still my girl too.. just.. feels right, I guess o.o?
