And what did God say to him? I would think what was said would be far more potentially scary than the fact that maybe he had a psychic experience.

Unless of course you feel threatened that there may actually be an intelligence out there external from humanity...

More likely a psychotic experience

I do not discount psychic experiences, or psychotic ones. I do not trust those who make life altering decisions based on them, to the detriment of their families.

I of course expect honesty, trust, and obedience. I need My slave/pet to have a head on their shoulders, I shouldn't feel the need to be by their side 24/7 to make sure they do as told or if they complete what I ask of them while I'm gone I need them to be able to occupy themselves and anticipate what else they could do to please Me. Otherwise, I guess the three "uncommon" deal breakers for Me are: Being in public wearing their collar and leash should I ask them. I'm very open in both My lifestyles (Goth/Vampire and BDSM) and I want My slave/pet comfortable with that or willingly uncomfortable.
Blood play- pretty easy to figure that one out. I'm in the Goth/Vampire lifestyle and therefore blood play is something I enjoy. I'm a trained Phlebotomist and therefore can do so safely.
Play Piercing- I do not require My slave/pet to be pierced. I would say this is My submissive weakness, I like to be pierced. If they are not willing to learn to do this on Me then I at least want them willing to watch it be done to Me.

Having them learn to pierce? Do you have trouble getting takers? What a great skill set for them to have!

Adding a few to the already growing list of deal breakers:

For me it is a deal breaker to not have a match on religion and politics.
Also a big deal breaker is poor mental health. Schizo's that have urges to set my house on fire in the middle of the night are not quite so attractive...
Being snobby or having a misplaced sense of being "uber" is a huge deal breaker aswell.

1. Not being able to laugh at oneself.

2. Not being able to laugh at life in general including the hard times (not talking about when at a family member or close friend's funeral, but the day to day challenges of life)

3. Not finding Family Guy funny.

Ok, maybe 3. isn't a complete deal breaker, but it sure goes a long way to offsetting other negatives

I had to laugh and then wonder why family guy is so wonderful. I've never even watched it!

Bad domina, bad!

I suppose that there would have to be some type of "purgatoryish" allowance for those who have never been exposed to the concept of Family Guy.

...what are some "deal breakers" for you? Things that, even if everything else was right, would kill it for you. Some that come immediately to mind for me are dishonesty, thievery, horrible hygiene, and continually trying to manipulate me.

As well as the usual mentioned by most people in this thread...
1) Anyone with an active addiction who is not seeking help.
2) Tobacco user
3) Religion. I am even picky on the type of Christian I date.
4) Guys with high powered jobs that would give them leverage over me if they turned ugly (alas, lawyers also fall into this group)
5) If someone is too far above me socially.
6) Wealth. I grew up watching money being used as a weapon and decided that nobody is going to have that kind of power over me.
7) If the press hangs around them for any reason. I enjoy a quiet life and want it to stay that way.
8) Someone who is allergic to my cats...or thinks that the only good cat is a dead one.
9) Someone who wants to be footloose and fancy free, expecting me to ditch my autistic son and ageing mother so I can spend all of my available time with only him. Blech. I wanted someone with roots, not some Peter Pan.

i have simple ones drinking i can not stand the smell of it
lying, you can help someone clean up, but drinking it is the worse
a drunk man is the worse!  they can change from someone nice 'to
someone whom is so mean you have no ideal who he is or what 'lol
happen to him!  someone whom thinks and  it has happen to many times !
it is thinking my "twin" comes along with the deal they want to serve
her do all of the things they do for me and they just do not get it
i had to drop two submissive whom thought , she was a dominant too!
It is a sick ideal,. that breaks it for me more then anything, oh the drinking
is neck and neck with the Twin thing lol!  The drinking is from watching
men whom drink as a child, i never dated or been with anyone whom drinks !

lol my brother would drink and each and everytime he throw up he missed the
damn bowl, and we were taught to help him "he" was the only "male" child, hell
no wonder i never married silly roles!

lol mons/jane
