what good thing happened to you within the last 24 hours?

I helped my mother and brother with their Comcast issues and am now an authorized user on both their accounts to make it easier for me to help them in the future. I gave my mom my TV and got her DVD player working - she's been without since May or so. I helped her move a bookcase. She's 73 and he is special needs - being around and available to do these sorts of things are exactly why I moved back to Massachusetts from Florida, so I feel good :)

While my car was at the mechanic's yesterday, I went to the gym, and the mechanic took much longer than expected so I worked out and did yoga for a total of 2.5 hours. I haven't done either regularly recently and was very impressed that I managed to complete my 90 minute yoga flow. I'm psyched that the group fitness room is available when classes are not in session.

My D and I had kick-ass kinky sex last night :)

Between that and the yoga, I am pleasantly sore today.

I ate some cookies and drank some milk.

I do love my cookies and my milk.

Sorry lol. Don't know if you have the tins of doughy (roll-out) ready to bake croissants over there. Not to add to your pain but they're really nice just out of the oven - nicer than heating up ready made ones so when you are off your diet(?) bear that in mind. I think Danerolles is the main brand, which I was told caused a sensation in France a few decades ago when they first came out! I don't think Costco is here or at least not near where I am.

We do have them here and they are rather wonderful. Have you tried the cinnamon roll type ones?

Muffins was my happy moment of the day.

Cinnamon croissants sound nice but I haven't seen them on the shelves. The only other type of croissant I've had is the chocolate type but doubt Danerolles make them. They're nice but plain ones allow more variety in terms of what to spread.

Very true, I've adopted a policy of throwing in the occasional comment here and there but the Internet war is over as far as I'm concerned. Had a late night so not much happened today yet but "stop the presses" - I did have two very nice croissants for breakfast...

Damn you! I'm going to Costco and I always have a hard time passing by those buttery, calorie-laden croissants! (I coulda sworn that I read once there were Costco locations in Ireland, but I see it's the UK.)

Gee, this is help? This is trying to point me in the non-croissant direction?? Oh no...they are the utterings of one who is not sorry about tempting me. They are the words of a sadist...completely enjoying the idea of me squirming...enjoying seeing me try to resist this baked goodies.

AAAAHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh!

This might shock you all but I'm not that sexually charged despite being in my early 20's.

No, that all went down when I was 10.  It was tough.

Speedy was my nickname around the girls lockerroom back in the day.  It wasn't due to any running, though.

Wait, what?

Sadly, that's all we need to know.

For those who are inquisitive....*looks over at DD*

i had to supply original birth certificate, Social Security card, any record of name changes (which means i had to hunt for my first marriage license so i could prove who i was on my second marriage license) and two proofs of residency.

However, i did find out that you are allowed to renew by mail and then you don't have to show the documents...but you can only do that once. WTF???

What a good thing
So what happens if you decide doc compliance is not your cup of tea?

I have a happy post for you... There's an organization called Hungry For Music and every year for the benefit of the national coalition for the homeless and underprivileged children (by guarantying them exposure to music lessons and instruments), they release a a CD called "Diamond Cut". Has all kinds of cool celebrity performances and other neat stuff.
This year there's an election on which of three songs to submit to the album and Annie Wenz and Bill "Spaceman" Lee are in the running with their entry "Play Ball".

If you want to vote... or even better yet, support the cause by ordering this year's CD of one of the past years' releases, please visit them at:
