I may be an intolerant bitch but I am a fairly honest one.

For my business name/website I seriously wanted to make the word 'bitch' a part of the name. I was rather easily convinced that the word 'broad' would be a better choice, all things considered. A part of me still wishes....

Those here that know me well enough to know the name of my biz and website will also be nodding their heads at this.

So what is the excuse of those that like to be rude to other people, whether their lifestyle/eating choices are good or not, whether they have a medical reason for whatever or not? What need motivates someone to come people bashing among strangers for the most part?

Actually, on the other thread, I found it quite amusing that the people who found one guy's remarks very rude about fat girls, began belittling him for the size of his cock.

What had the size of his cock to do with him being boorish? It was just insulting for insulting's sake and made them equally as bad as he was.

Who we are attracted to and what we want in life is a choice... however, those that project their opinions about those they do not know and carry on with complaints, rude comments/insults aren't simply expressing their choice in my opinion. They seem to be doing something else. They feel they have the right to treat people with disrespect because of how they live or look and everyone should be ashamed if they don't live and look like they think they should, rather than move on.
This. ^^^ I have no problem whatsoever with someone having a different preference or preferences than I do. What I do have a problem with is people that go out of their way to make negative comments and/or innuendos about a person or group that doesn't fit their preferred type, whether it's because of size, gender, sexual preference, religion, race, fetish or whatever it may be. I feel the same way whether or not I belong to the group in question.

Most overweight people in my personal experience have attitude problems, low self-esteem, and an endless supply of excuses.

I'm sure it's a "thyroid" problem you have when you're munching down that McDonald's on a semi-regular basis and lounging around.

More generalizations. How nice.

NS..

look up the word tact. learn and love it (or at least USE tact, regardless of how you feel about it).
Look up the term 'Narcissus', then look in the mirror. learn it.. recognize it.. fix it.
sadly, I cant find a term or phrase for "PULL YER HEAD OUTTA YER SELF ABSORBED ASSHOLE".. but I am sure there is SOME kind of DSM-IV diagnosis in there..

Sometimes, our thin friends wanna go to the all you can eat place, so, we go, even knowing that if we get up for seconds, be it salad or that huge plate of dessert, folks are going to say "Look at that fat hog eating everything on the damn buffet!".

We do this because, get ready for it, fat folks can be social animals! We forget sometimes that our mere existence offends some people. We forget that some folks think we should stay in our house, wearing our moomoos (like that spelling?), and stuffing our faces while we make piglike noises and sit in our own stench.

I had to laugh at your sarcasm, but I know exactly what you're saying. I get stared at even though my firsts and seconds both are always at least 75 to 80% or more healthy salads from the salad bar. I eat healthier than most people I know, yet they look at me like I'm the disgusting one.

I'll take that opinion and agree with it to some degree. The person I was responding to on this thread was saying that over weight people had all sorts of excuses, etc. Is a known poster that often says things I agree with and just as often says things I don't agree with. My key words in this are what excuses strangers from coming in to bash people simply for the sake of bashing them and do people think that they have other areas of being like this.

When I go for the balls so to speak, it is most often someone who has a posting style I am familiar with and that has been rude. I am not passed saying something rude or snarky and when I am wrong I will admit I am wrong. Am I wrong to be snarky or rude to someone that has been snarky and rude? Hummm... sometimes, sometimes maybe not. I am not the kind of gal that turns the other cheek because it is the nice thing to do... or takes the higher position that makes me a much better person. I am here for laughs too and if they are rude or doing something I don't like, I don't feel I owe them a sweet answer. If that makes me bad... rude or anything else... I can accept that. I never, ever said I was always nice and I am not nice to all people.

In the post where I referred to cock size... he was being a dick... he was showing he was being a dick and he was also showing the size of his dick. Whether you see me as excusing poor behavior or not... I did it, I would do it again and the two situations I was posting about here and on the other thread had variables.

My post on the other thread, based on his prior posting style and comments as well as the current ones:

Whether people want to admit it or not, yeah, this scene attracts a disproportionate amount of fatties. And it's disgusting.

LOL.. the smart fox that thinks he's hot, speaks... he shouldn't have because he let us know how unlike a fox he is.

That dude is never going to get laid.

Skinny chicks can read too you know. You think you just impressed them enough to play with your little cock? And don't try denying it's little... you showed it... in more ways than one.

I admit that I, too, made mention of his 3" cock. I realize that, in doing so, I was being no better than him, but I was not feeling very nice at the time and I am no longer the sort of person who will answer rude-ass, ignorant comments with a "nice" reply.

It was actually pretty hilarious.  I mean, honestly, who brags about having a three inch cock?  And posts a picture?  With a ruler?  I am still giggling about that.

I must confess here that I am hideously shallow. There was a dude who was 6'4" and 475 pounds on the other side, and yanno? I will not be contacting him for that alone, the profile that had the nasty comments was purely secondary. He is probably a decent enough guy, but jesus on a crumpet another hater of pro doms and their clients. Shot down on every side.

The difference, of course, was that the "fluffy" people that were being criticized on that other thread were not trying to make a point about their weight.  I think it is safe to say that none of them had pictures of themselves on their profile, standing on a scale, for example.  Nor do most of them try to "sell" themselves based on their weight.  If they list it at all, it is probably with the hope that it will screen out people like hotfox (or whatever his name was) on that thread.

Hotfox, on the other hand, specifically posted a picture of his cock (and a ruler) on his profile, like a three inch cock is some kind of selling point.  As in "look at me!  I have a three inch dick!"  As far as I can see, absolutely the only reason to do something like that is because you are inviting public critique.

Hilarious!

I know I don't have a picture of the numbers on my scale on my profile and I don't list my weight. I do, though, have a clothed full body picture of myself to show my body size and my double chin is clearly visible in my photos, so I'm not hiding anything.

What I really DO find exceedingly funny, though, is he actually has a picture of his three incher on his profile, complete with a measuring tape beside it to illustrate his shortcomings. Hotfox was just screaming out for someone to say something about it. Maybe he actually IS into humiliation. haha

Actually, it's perpetuating generalizations and stereotyping. Tactless and totally unnecessary. There are people that I'm not "into" or that something about them may disgust me for some reason, but I don't have to continue telling everyone why.

What about the stereotyping/generalization some of them hold over slim people?  Don't pretend like we're supposed to turn a blind eye to overweight people thinking they're somehow better than those that weigh less than them.

The truth is, many overweight people in my experience give themselves pity parties.  Most of them can actually change, but like everything in life, it takes patience and dedication.

Bingfuckingo! And I used to be one of them til I accidentally lost 12 lbs after giving up frozen dinners, heh go figure. Yeah my thyroid is part of it but I lost weight (25lbs!) after I stopped making excuses.

I also used to say I wanted a guy who would accept me fat and all. But I've rethought it, I'd rather have a guy who looks beyond the fat - and then encourages me to lose weight, not because he hates the fat but because he wants me to be around as long as possible. We can say what we like, there are diseases associated with being over weight and the fat DOES make finding lumps and bumps harder.
