Yeah, I actually don't care too much for the civil aspects. Jesus in Boston, they would have torn the guy from his car and he might've got bounced off a few hoods even but there would have been one thing he had Boston that I couldn't believe he didn't in Oakland upon his departure... CUFFS... No way around it in Massachusetts. Car gets impounded for forensics.

Nope and thats a good excuse to run someone over. we got exceptions to when its ok to run people over, they didnt look both ways or they banged on the hood.

Butch, did you watch the video? Did you see the man in the white shirt and his female companion walking across the street as the white mercedes pulled up extremely close to them? Did you notice the man push the woman out of the way before turning and hitting the hood?

Pedestrians have the right of way.

Unless we are looking at different videos... the car could not get through the interaction so it slowly moved forward... He or she did not hit anyone and stopped when the man would not move.... Then the asshole in front of the car started shouting at the driver and was beating on the hood.

Now I would not just gun it and hit him unless I was afraid for my life... of course we have no idea what the punk was saying to the driver...perhaps he did feel threatened for his life.

Now.. The driver will and should pay the price for his criminal action and I hope the kid is ok...but don't say this was all on sided and the blame was on the driver alone.

But maybe I was watching the wrong video after all...set me straight if this is the case.

The guy driving the car was yelling AT the guy in front, who as far as I am aware, did not make an attempt to go anywhere near the driver.
But you still think its ok that he ran two people over.
What a world
They let him go, why????

I also have to wonder....WHY....

Yes it doesnt matter whether or not you watch the video. You know what you saw with your own eyes. Its like magic.

At 5 seconds into the video, the car is approaching the couple

at 6 seconds into the video, the man is turning to push the woman out of the way... she was walking between him and the car and the car didnt act like he was going to stop... granted he was slow... but he was too damn close

at 7 seconds the man was yelling at the driver

by 13 seconds into the video, the mercedes pushes forward, at which time the man makes the first strike at the car, then the mercedes drags the man down the street... In just that order.

I dont know what you watched.

Funny tazzy but that's what I said...soooo instead of stepping aside as any reasonable person would do when a car is slowly coming towards you this punk decides it is ok to pound on the hood...Now where in any of my posts did I say it was ok for the driver to run the kid down?... I said the pedestrian had some of the blame for the whole damn stupid episode.

He had to push his friend out of the way before the car hit her. Would you be smiling and waltzing away at that point? we both know you would not. He was yelling. The white car pushed forward again. Then the man hit the hood. The car then pushed foward and dragged the man down the street.
