Status: offline 		Getting back into the social scene after a long period of voluntary solitude. Had forgotten just how sparse the BDSM community is here in NM. Tried looking up threads to follow and found the latest to be from 2 years ago.
So, starting this thread and hoping to hear back from some local members of the community. Is anybody out there?!! Lol!

Few years ago, before my hiatus, I looked up local leather groups and such. Only one such group then. They may still exist but have consistently been sore to update their website and calendar. Not sure anyone actually maintains the site any more. Sites of other groups are no longer valid. Expired domain names and such.
There are groups and information sources for swingers. However, I am not a swinger. Just not my style.

Status: offline 		Welcome to CM.. I know how it goes.. It's often not easy finding local resources in any but the more populated areas/major cities. They're out there, but often out of date and no one wants to work at maintaining them :-(

exactly...so most of the "web" stuff was never kept up to date, but there was a lot of activity going on.  Every year they have the Mr. and Ms. Rio Grande Leather contests, they had leather/BDSM socials at a Country/Western bar way down Central Avenue....the play parties were usually at private homes, so a little harder to find but once you find folks in the scene, it shouldn't be too hard.

I met a lot of BDSM folks when I was there--I'll try to remember the name of the club--it was a leather bar once a month, I think....

Also...look for the New Mexico Leather Wolves... even if you aren't a gay man, where's the are leathermen, you'll find leather women....and ways into the scene.  (it's the old fashioned way.....face to face..)
