actually, i think it must be tough to be a man on these sites. whether they be dom, switch or sub, men outnumber us in here many times over. so do they write us letters that take 45 minutes to handcraft in an attempt to woo us, only to be told "no thanks" or "get lost troll," or do they send out goofy form letters that cause us to write "no thanks" or "get lost troll?" seems like a no win situation. i'm glad i am not a guy :)

I have to say, I have written to many people, sometimes because I am interested, sometimes for shits and giggles. I would guess in 30 % of the cases I get a reply of some sort, and all of them are polite, ranging from fuck you to go fuck yourself, you horny douchebag. Man, I LOVE humiliation play! I do feel sorry for the sincere men that sometimes write me with a mostly generic message that are good ones, but I have been just too burned out that day to reply with a thoughtful reply even to say no thanks. For me, it is not the size of a personal message, as long as it is not too short, but what is written honest, heart felt and personalized. I do not even care and have no problem if part of a message is copy and paste. I do not want a personal novel but I do not think it is too much to expect a couple of short paragraphs either. I really do not feel sorry for the men on here, many of them nice and sincere, who mass mail just to get any woman to write them back positvely. I feel sorry for the men who only contact women who they feel are good matches and rarely get a response back whether positive or negative.

Raven Sometimes too its cause of filters that are set up to catch people that might be out of an age range or out of the area someone is looking in... things like that. I know I have missed a few e-mails from people that have written really good ones, because my filters snagged them, so sometimes its not an intentional oversight.... but it happens...
