Healthy enough to manipulate the technology to enable and create multiple accounts.  I am sorry, but this is not like sitting down with someone for coffee and seeing multiple personalities.   There is forethought involved in creating accounts, logging off one and in to another.

Thank you all for everything. I wish I didn't have to go, I want to stay, I really really do, but VAA is right, it's probably for the best. I'm going to miss you all, everyone of you. Even Otterswim who is so mad at us, very early on he extended a hand in kindness to me when few wanted to. I'll always treasure you for that, and I'm sorry if I've caused you any pain, any of you.

And I very much regret all the trouble I have caused the Mods, I really am sorry.

Goodbye and good luck to you all. I am so going to miss you all, this site and all of you have been a very big and important part of my "life" for lack of a better word. You've taught me a lot about myself and well everything. I'm honoured that for a little while at least, you let me into your lives and I could partake of your world.

Then you didn't read Alpha's post. Bob had no idea that the girls were his alters. There is no indication that he knew all this time. I do suggest you go back and read her post.

Except he said on several occasions that he talked to them on the phone.  So that's kinda weird/confusing.

In any case, I hope he gets the help he needs.  I am glad the site has stepped up and is fixing this.

I'll have to reconcile the personal attacks toward me with his mental illness.  That's going to be a process for me.

A lot of people are going to have trouble with being attacked under 7 accounts. But, having gone back and read VAA's post again, I am going to end it there.

Otter. I'm not going to argue. You will believe what you wish.

Here is a bit of background http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociative_identity_disorder

This disorder has been officially recognized for over 150 years. In some extreme cases, one personality has even killed without the other(s) knowing.
You don't have to be healthy to create accounts. You don't have to be healthy to manipulate them.
This is the original place where the sign hangs on the wall that says "You don't have to be crazy to be here but it helps"
We all have our demons. I daresay that there are those who believe that gender dysphoria doesn't really exist but we both know it is as real as the floor I have My feet on.
Bob's problem is just as real.

I agree, tazzy, best to leave it lie.

One thing I will say, with regards to mental illness. People are entitled to react to it however they react to it.  When someone is affected by it, it's their individual process to go through.  Some will be forgiving (I admire that and strive for that myself) and some will not be.  I don't believe there is a right or wrong here.

He taught us many lessons. Some I, personally, could have done without. And while you may want to forgive and forget, you also must realize, for others, that is going to be a hard process... and may never happen at all, mental illness or not.

Very true there. I interacted very little with 'haytch house' except very peripherally.
Lesbians don't interest me at all except as possible friends. Some of the folks who got involved with the attacks and such will need a lot of healing. I wasn't one of them except to watch with amusement from time to time.

Thanks and congrats to the mods who must have spent an enormous amount of time, energy, resources and general irk in tracking down and corralling the hydra-headed gerund troll. Good on ya! I admire your patience and civility, as well as your endurance, and thanks for letting us know.
[And I *knew* it was a dude: called it!]
Hope treatment, which would include taking away his internet for months or years, helps him.

Not to mention those of us who developed friendships with one or more of the alters. It's quite the thing to wrap your head around.

I can imagine.

This is why I don't adhere to the "It's just pixels on a screen" idea.  While that may be true for some, it is not at all the case for others.

I've had some time to think about this and I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to say this publicly.  I have sincere doubts that this post is going to stay, but if I don't speak My mind, the only person I can blame is Myself.  Not Mods, not group owners elsewhere.  Just Me.

Bob, you did a lot of damage.  To be honest, I don't know how I feel about all of this shit about it's all excusable because you were sick.  There's a part of you that I still believe knew right from wrong.  You went beyond lying to Me.  You lied about Me.  This wasn't just "oh, it's just the internet".  This came into My real world.  I suffered consequences because of it that are too detailed to get into here.  My reputation was tarnished because of what you're little "personalities" had to say about Me, and frankly, I'm not ready to forgive you.

Over the course of months, thousands of people saw the different things that your "personalities" wrote.  Some of it was really hurtful shit.  The thing is, I'm not just a figment of someone's imagination.  I'm a real flesh and blood human and not ONCE did you give a flying fuck that you were causing harm.

Here's the good part.  Now I'm the shit because My anger and frustration have gone beyond what I'm willing to take, and I'm the bad person for bitching you out.  Oh, I'm supposed to just deal with it because you are ill.  I guess that just makes Me the fucking c*nt that you've called Me over and over again.

Please do go and get well.  I'm sure you'll be just fine.

LP. I, for one. do not hold anything you just said against you. I guess I am just still too angry to fully vent myself. You and I spoke about this privately some weeks back. Since then, much has found its way into my cmail... things I held on too and shared with very few. Because, by that point, the damage was done.

I get the sneaky suspicion that we are being laughed at still. Im glad so many enjoyed the antics and found all this amusing. Some of us truly got hurt by what happened, not by the house itself, not by the attacks, but the peripheral attacks that occurred from other people we knew.

I dont believe I can ever forgive many people over a lot of this. I do wish Bob good health and truly hopes he is seeking the help he claims he needs.

I have no idea what is going on ... other than some person named Arpig (?) made up these lesbian women living together. I don't know. I got so sick and tired of hearing the word "f*ck" every other word, I just ignored the posts.

I dont' know what a puppet or sockpuppet is either. But so be it...

I don't know much about the mental diagnosis, but I would tend to think that someone with this sickness and these highly developed multiple personalities still has one physical person and one brain at the core. The fact that there was a lot of nastiness that came out through some of these personalities leads me to believe that there is a lot of nastiness at the core of Bob.
I personally won't miss them at all except for the soap opera train wreck aspect.
Some of us caught on waaay back in the summer that there was something amiss. I'm more disgusted by the way the supporters got just as nasty to anyone that suspected or questioned.
Bob's got a sickness. It's no excuse. You others don't have that sickness. You should all be embarrassed.

OS with all due respect, you do understand that they weren't socks, they were alters that Bob himself was unaware of. So any havoc caused by their posts are not his fault.

Fire

They were orchestrated from a single mind with a single computer.  That can only be done by manipulating technology to rotate IP addresses.

That states clearly to me that the person in charge knew exactly who was posting what and when.

Yep. And now the followers feel stupid. Where the fuck is Domi? Sorry I am with OS on this one. Jesus people really?
