What is your theory, Taz?

Have you had laser or cataract surgery?

Have any blood pressure problems?

No to the surgery...

Slight to the BP.. 138 - 140 / 80 - 85. A bit too high for my Drs comfort considering my diabetes. Its now running in the 110's/70's

Duskypearls -> RE: Vision problem (1/20/2012 9:14:06 PM)

What a relief, my dear. Good news, indeed.

tazzygirl -> RE: Vision problem (1/20/2012 9:19:17 PM)

tazzygirl
Forgive the forwardness I've been a od tech (optical technician) for 3 years and suffer from ocular migraines myself I hope that is all it is it sounds like it but if you have a eyemasters in your area they can do a eye exam for 40 bucks to check pressures if you'd like to get 2nd opinion it never hurts and since your a diabetic and taking hb meds never a bad thing to do good luck hun hope it just turns out to be ocular migraines.

I know so little about eyes, but believe cataracts, diabetes, high blood pressure (among other things) can cause starbursts in the visual field.

Here's to hoping it's the ocular migraines, tho' I'm sorry even if it's that. Can't be fun.

Its truly just annoying.. however, with the diabetes, its always my fear... vision, kidneys and nerves.

Yes, I imagine it must be very annoying. Please take good care of yourself.

I have a strange question here (but I have a reason for it) Do you have grey-blue eyes? (this is to Tazzalicious, btw)

Fornica -> RE: Vision problem (1/21/2012 6:07:41 AM)

Careful, next she's going to ask your bra size. I'm onto her.

Thanks for updating us..take care of yourself. And your eyes, and stuff.

fucktoyprincess -> RE: Vision problem (1/21/2012 6:16:27 AM)

I'm glad you spoke to your doctor. Stay well, and I hope the symptoms do not recur.

And diabetes can be such a difficult disease to manage - so many things to keep track of. But please don't get discouraged. You can be annoyed - just not discouraged! Take care.

About 15 yrs ago I had something similar as did another lady at work,we were using pc's quite heavily which was a first for us both. it transpired that the fluorescent lights which have an inherent flicker had a faulty starter & no cover screening which was pulsating against the screen change on the monitor. we upgraded the starters & problem solved.
