How many years have you been actively searching for a Domme, Dom, sub, or slave without much success yet are still searching with the hope of finally finding a good one who's compatible with what you're seeking?

Why do all your advertis..err..threads, have the same emoticon thingy?

Sought. The verb conjugation you're looking for is "sought" or "been seeking."

[sm=thanks.gif]  Glad I'm not the only one bothered by that.

Advertising seems to be done on Fridays.  (That's always seemed odd to Me, as I'm sure some 'pupils' are needing some time after a long week.)

Considering the low rates of the person on the other thread, that may have to be stepped up a bit.  Competition is getting younger and the price is cheaper.

Mine is past tense as I'm no longer seeking.

I'm no longer seeking but it took me 8 years before I found Master 6 years ago.

I'd have to say never, as I prefer a non d/s dynamic with a sadist. From the time I split with my former SO to the time I contacted & became involved with my current sadistic sweetie, approximately 4 months.

About 1 hour give or take a few minutes.

Still on the hunt. [sm=evil.gif]

I'd been searching maybe eight years.  During those eight years, I had maybe eight subs, for varying lengths of times.  Immediately before I met Tasha, I'd been with one sub who I thought wasn't right for me.  We broke up right before a play party, and I met Tasha and played with her that night.  I was free for about three hours.

None I have Dommes coming out of my arse.

Bugger that came out wrong.

I was actively searching for about 8 years before I met Master about a year and a half ago. I briefly dated a couple of guys, but that ended when it became apparent we weren't a great long-term fit.

I'm glad I waited all those years though - I gained a much better understanding of who/what I need to make a successful D/s relationship and now I have the right man for me. [:D]

Biting my lip here. :)

Poor AcademyForSlaves, no clients for the weekend. Here's what you're doing wrong - men are visual, and you have no pictures. Now run along and steal some from the interwebs.

I can't really say because I don't really spend time seeking a 'Dominant' but getting to know people because I've learned that if you go seeking a relationship online or a 'Dominant' you usually end up bringing frustration and melodrama into your life.

In most of my cases it's happened unexpectedly, either someone was looking for me or it was 'discovered' out of something else.

I prefer it this way, I get to know people, and there's nothing like the drama and warm fuzzies you get from experiencing sudden positive changes in your life.

Another thing is I don't look at this in terms of success and failure..

Every person I get to know and meet to me is a success in some way, never a failure.

I've chatted with a few subs here and there. So far all have taken "can you man a winch or tail a sheet" [sm=yeahright.gif]  the wrong way.

I'm doomed

Stella voices my thoughts also. I can't say I've been looking. Just open to possibilities.

My life is fabulous as it is. I would certainly love the enrichment of a woman in my life but if it never happens again I won't feel my life was lacking either.

There's a shortage over in New England.  Kindly report there, and bring lube to create them more quickly.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: How many years have you seeked a dom or sub? (1/21/2012 9:30:32 AM)

I keep mentally saying SOUGHT, SOUGHT! [>:]

What shall I say? My entire adult life? I have had vanilla relationships, I have had submissives but obviously nothing that has stood the test of time. Perhaps I should start looking on the internet...
