It seems astonishing this could happen in this country. This guy deserves every penny of his 22 million dollar award, and some people need to lose their jobs.

What makes me concerned is the call to privatise jails.
Can you imagine what horrendous nightmares could come out of that scenario.
Id like to see a lot of people loose their jobs over this... the warden, the medico's the guards, the system as a whole.
SO many will boo hoo the guy ..but its all shits n giggles till someone you care for is in the same boat.

What is there to boo hoo? Yes, the guy got a DWI, but no trial after two years? It would be kind of hard to blame the victim in this scenario, try as anyone might.

Oh, I know Lucy. Sometimes it is just so simple, though. This whole case is really astounding, and a plaintiff attorney's wet dream.
