there was an Indian actress in the first of the Star Trek movies who shaved her head for the part........Have a look at her for one sexy woman.............I knew her name until about an hour ago *smile* and then Captain Morgan took his toll but she was really something special. It may have been 'Indira Naidoo' but I'm not sure

Persis Khambatta,  This is her.  She was beautiful with and without her hair.

outlier...............I have to agreewith you way beyond 100%...........she was gorgeous and yet she died so young
Thanks for helping me with the name and I still find bald or pony-tailed women very attractive. With hair, she surely resembles Sophia Loren......................without hair she is totally unique

Okay....I like hair...on me.

However, there does (currently) seem to be a slight "lack" in that area....read on.

When I was about 29 or 31 or so (at least several weeks ago or more) I noticed a small little thin spot in the back...no big....lots of guys get a thin spot back there....never paid much attention to it....it got a little thinner as I grew (a smidge) older, then there was one day (it seemed like it was "one day") a rather significant patch left "beholding" on the top of my hayud.

As I got my haircuts over the years, naturally I told the barber...."leave that section a little long, would you?" (that would be the section up top that seemed daily to have limited and fleeting affection for me).

I always had long hair, and today, from the top down...it's all there.....from that point up....well....it's found a new friend....my shower drain.

I like hair.

About 7 years ago I decided I was going to "do it" (you know what I'm talking about) and I was sooooooooo excited, I must have called a dozen people. "Going in on Monday" (this was Thursday....I'd paid the whole bill....12 grand).

I didn't sleep a wink, but I was excited....literally I spent the entire night Thursday thinking about having hair again (I like hair). Didn't sleep.

Then, Friday, a bit of a wreck, still excited, I tell the whole office (it's not like they don't know....."oh....fuck....did you know he's bald on top????")....I make it through the day, barely....ready to go home and crash....maybe even sleep the whole weekend....get ready for Monday. But I couldn't.

Then I start thinking "what if I get all this done and THEN.....I start losing hair BELOW THAT line????" (Wouldn't that be attractive?).

Then I start thinking about my Grampa's hair when he was 70 or so. My hair (on the sides and the back) is like a garden....bush thick....on the top....you can bounce radio signals off it)....so my Grampa's hair....if I recall correctly (and I was probably 6 or 7 at the time) I think he had 11 hairs (entirely) and....I've seen that "smile" (scar) on the back of men's hayuds when they do the deed.....and I started thinking...."FUCK!!!!! If I do this...there ain't NO going back!". ....and I panicked, and canceled the deal. Didn't sleep the entire weekend THROUGH Sunday until I heard from the hair place that they'd received my (37 panicked) phone messages.

Now....7 plus years later I'm thinking....if it's gonna fall out....it would have happened by now so....it's either now or never.

So....here's my question (and no....I don't have any issues as to being bald, any more than I have issues with wearing suits or jeans but if I had a choice....I'd wear a suit {even though I mostly wear jeans} and....I like hair....so, this isn't a bit about trying to recapture my youth....it's about hair...I like it, I like combing it and I like {having had} it).

I miss it.

With all that said....here's my question:

I can afford it....without batting an eye....apparently "the smile" issue (on the back of my hayud) has been resolved by some brilliant science guy and there's no "corn row" thing anymore either....they put it in all catywompus so it looks like baby Jesus planted it for you.

Should I do this and spend shitloads of money or....should I take advantage of the lack of technology in some rural areas and rent out my fore hayud to Motorola for $37.93 a month as a repeater for 1 way signals until they resolve that problem and just live with my shiny fore hayud?

I bow to your comments.

Do what makes you happy. If you can afford it and want hair there, get it!! Seriously.

I live with a very vain guy. Oh he wouldn't describe himself as vain but he is. One of his biggest thrills is that he didn't inherit the baldness of his father, or his maternal grandfather. It has receded and thinned but no awkward bald spot. He also would look ridiculous totally bald. Like a google eyed bowling ball.

I make fun of people that get non medically necessary surgeries but yanno.......there is a point where if a person can afford something about something that really makes them feel bad and it's not an obsessive addiction (think a few weird looking famous people like Joan Rivers and now Madonna, and a lot more less famous weird looking people) why not?!?

If you prefer to have hair where there once was and now isn't, and if someone can fix it, then go for it!!!

After the much desired head humping of course.....

If you think it will make you happy go for it.

However, I have yet to see somebody who has had the surgery without it being quite noticeable. I would rather have my guy go bald than him having the ridiculous look that often is the result of this procedure.

On a personal note, bald men a dead sexy to me.

Personally I have a hair fetish, so am not impartial. If it would make you happy then that is what you should do and the rest be damned.

Shaving is seen in most societies as a rite of passage into manhood. Balding is just nature's way of telling us that it's time to be a little bit more "manly".

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Actually it is 5α-dihydrotestosterone.

And silly me, I always thought it was genetics.

That sadistic baldness gene.

It is genetic. Thus the overproduction.

Ya. For some odd reason I did a report on it when I was still a little monkey in school. And an even weirder thing.......I remember that report.

I'm balding. I embrace it.

How do you manage that - by putting your own head in some sort of judo hold?

I think that baldness (or a skinhead haircut) only works on a woman if she's got a very, very soft sort of face. Shaving the scalp's not generally a good move otherwise, IMHO.

Ah, hell, that'd be good.

If I were there, I'd keep each and every woman guessing right up to the last minute. 'Is he going to kneel, or is he going to tickle me to death?'

Actually, I probably wouldn't know, myself, until that last minute.

Trust me, you would be busy. And I am not ticklish.
