Hey, I'm new here, how the hell do I search the local profiles? I want to make sure there are indeed girls on this cite from my area before I invest too much time in it.

Fill out your search criteria, minimally specifying Female and a distance, and hit Search. Getting them to respond positively to your emails is much harder and often discussed here.

Yeah, not real impressed actually; there are about a half dozen or so girls in my area who have been online in the past year. Total. Guess i'll fill out my profile, add some pics and see if I ever get an email.

You left out a step - creating a well crafted first email tailored to individual profiles. While some women will make first contact, the majority do not.

Welcome.. And be glad you found the forums side of CM! In it, you'll meet a lot of wonderful and amazing people, and a lot of real slimeballs which leave you feeling dirty (in the not-so-fun way). Well, first of all, I aint looking for "A Hoe" as you put it. Now this is interesting, just tried the same search again and got significantly more results. Literally the same search, all the options had remained as-is.
