I agree with Kana that it seems this girl was just using an excuse to blow you off.
The girl in question just joined the site 3 days prior to your complaint here, and I find
it unlikely that a chatroom would be so dedicated to you and your reputation to warn her
about you. I also don't see her entering a chatroom and asking if anyone knows you.
Unless of course you really are a strange character.
Another theory is, many may feel they've already found their "manofyourdreams",
and when it didn't work out to be happily ever after, they sullied the name.
Maybe they were talking about manofyourdreams1 and manofyourdreams2.
I'm sure you have a great personality to some, but not everyone is going to be impressed.
