I'm 100% real, I'm generic brand though...

Long time lurker, first time poster with this username.
Re: the OP, I got an e-mail from a sub who asked if I had a webcam in order to help him with a task he has to perform. I don't have one and said so, and asked what it was he has to do.

He was immediately suspicious, saying no, he doesn't believe I'm a woman, probably a bi male, if I was for real, how come my profile pic was taken with a cam.
It was taken at work where I have a cam on my iMac.
We exchanged more e-mails, and I even sent another pic of myself, trying to prove that yes, I'm a real lady.

I just felt it was so sad that he's been taken in so many times that he can't recognize an honest person.
Unless he just wanted to wank off in front of me. Maybe that was his task.
Oh, well, his loss.

Just let people say what they want, it is not of much consequence. Your post reads like you spend too much time doing research on irrelevance. Good luck with that. Think about it this way: if everybody is terribly mediocre, you can stand out from the crowd. Regard it as a gift to you personally, from the hoi polloi.
