I agree if I have to pull it I will kill the person I pull it on.

If I thought it prudent to pull out my weapon I would still try to avoid shooting it if at all possible and hope I might scare the bad guys away. Don't get me wrong. I would follow through if necessary but I would rather not answer a bunch of questions from the police and I don't want to be the next Zimmerman.

I see your point but I was taught not to pull to intimidate as this could push things over the edge, not to pull unless you need to use it. That said I once had a man come into my yard at 11:30 at night who not only did not identify himself but when I challenged him he pulled something dark and shiny out of his hip pocket. As the muzzle of my handgun cleared my belt I identified the keypad on his cell phone. He never knew he was within one second of eternity. (he was a known con man who was in jail three months later after one of his freinds/victims ran him down

LOL......but once you've shot somebody, haven't things gone over the edge already anyway ? I think if I ever did have to pull I would be within a few seconds or less from sending one out-a-the tube.

One time I was driving a rented mini van (a white Chevy Venture I think) about 6 years ago here in Florida. It was 3 am and I was out getting an ice cream fix. Going home I pulled out of the 7-11 into a left turn lane to wait for the light to make a u-turn and a white compact 2 door stopped at the light in the right hand turn lane with 2 lanes between us. When I looked over there was this white guy, window rolled down, his elbow on the window sill just staring at me. He looked like a teenaged version of Pugsley from the Adams Family. He wouldn't stop staring and the next thing ya know a black guy gets out the passenger side who I had noticed was in the car while Pugsley was starin me down and then another black guy gets out from the back seat who I hadn't noticed. The first guy to get out walked around the front of the car towards mine as the 2nd guy started around the back. I knew at that point I was about to get jacked, or so they thought I'm sure. My first reaction was to run the light and make that u-turn, but just as I started out into the intersection a semi truck came from the other way from over the hill I was facing and running the light wasn't an option. Just as I was reaching for my .357 in the glove box the 2 black guys went back and hopped into their car. I doubt if it was because I was reaching that they thought better of it but who knows. I think it's because of the truck and then some other cars coming from behind. I'm 100% sure though I was about to get my vehicle jacked. If they had continued towards my vehicle I would have hopped out with my magnum pointing down their throats but I wouldn't have just started shooting or at least not for a split second or 2.

I'm waiting for this to happen:

What sane gun laws ?

Sane gun laws limiting personal ownership of machine guns or .50 cal sniper rifles (like David Koresh's Branch Davidians used against the Feds at Waco), for two examples.

Of course, some would prefer this:

The Davidians didn't have 50's and it was never proven they had machine guns. Feds fried any evidence along with the Davidians.

Sounds like you were using good judgement. With the incident I described I was within Alabama rules of engagement. You have to know the rules where you are.

Besides your highly exaggerated cartoon there already are laws limiting personal ownership of machine guns not to mention what BamaD posted. No one wants 16 year olds to own racket launchers.
At least come up with something logical to post.

I am not aware of the Davidians having 50s but the Feds did have warrents to serve.

Yes because the Davidians were suspected of converting ar15's to full auto and not paying the $200 fee for doing so.

That is why I did not state catagorically that they did not have full auto weapons but that the government burned any proof along with the Davidians. I think the Davidians were nuts but to burn 150 men women and children to death over paperwork is a tad excessive. And the violence could have been avoided by just waiting till Koresh made his weekly trip into town for food and other supplies.

Yeh one of them was a licensed gun dealer, but the hellfire trigger arrangement (can do it with a fuckin rubber band for shit sake!) are not classified as a machine gun. If someone can pull the trigger as fast as a machine gun more power to them.

They even had letters from the FBI stating that hellfire arrangements are NOT classified as machine guns.

So it sounds like you are saying that the Feds had even less justifications that I thought they did.

I expect they stepped on someones toes in their arms biz.

Just like drugs, that is MI6 and the CIA's baby doll. You butt in you in jail or dead.

That and they had their own community that was in the same tone as the sovereign citizen movement. Another no no, because peeps get a clue that citizen is an equal contract of reciprocity not a YOU WILL OBEY the sovereign LORD state and the shit will hut the fan.

You are aware that ATF was looking for a spectacular bust because there was talk of defunding ATF.

No I wasnt, I will have to do a bit of research on that thanks.

If you really want to see some fancy foot shuffling dig into the government files on murrah. I still to this day shake my head over all the illegal shit they did to white wash that. If there was ever a slap in the face government job that one went right over the top.

What I have heard on that sounds like a rehash of the Roosevet knew about pearl harbor theory that my dad was fond of. But you may have info I don't.
