I recently discovered this - which was a thrill since its been ages since I came across something new to me in this scene - I've used slices of ginger on my sub's clit, and made a butt plug of peeled ginger that is inserted when she takes the cane. She reports the sensation is very intense.

I'm curious if others here have explored figging, was it a positive experience, and/or have other creative ideas on the same line?

Can you elaborate on that? Are you saying putting dishsoap on the area kills the sensation?

yes, i've heard of that, but never heard that name for it. we discussed it at craig's list, and the post linked below is an excellent primer in doing it.

I really enjoy Ginger at times.

Here is an intense one; bound, blindfolded and experiencing some intense electro.
During a break in the sensation, I feel something like a sound, thinking she will clip an electrode to that. I found out very quickly it was a sliver of ginger, the lead was clipped a flexible wire electrode wrapped just under my corona.

You should have scraped it so it was a little juicy before using it. Cleaning it after peeling kind of waters down the biteyness of the ginger.

If you're talking about hot peppers, they, more dangerous to play with. They can cause serious burns and nerve damage.

I've never tried ginger but I've been curious. I've had capsicum cream put on my ass after a spanking. Significantly less stimulation there, since it is OUTSIDE any orifices (orifi?).

I get nervous about the idea of organic material in an orifice. Anyone know if there's any risk with ginger? I mean, I'm sure there's SOME risk, so maybe the question is moot.

Figging is the practice of inserting a piece of ginger root into the anus or vagina. Originally applied to horses as a form of deception as to the horse's condition, it now most commonly refers to a practice in BDSM.

Historically, this practice, also known as feaguing, was used to ginger up older horses in order to deceive the purchaser as to the age and condition of the horse, by having the animal hold its tail and head high and moving around nervously, characteristic of a younger horse.

Without reading the other replies, I can assure you I adore it. Using a 2 fingered plug inserted in the obvious areas.. and a slice clamped on my clit causes instant Os. So, figging? Oh, hell to the YES!!!

(Is the grocery store closed already???)
