In Google news, I ran across this recent situation and in digging for the simple facts, I'm worried that key seemingly easy to verify details seem to be missing ... ??? Does this 'true story" make sense to you? - Brooklyn male (John Hopkins, 45) places ad in Craigslist offering exchange - Exchange is rent-free lodging for domestic assistance (cooking/cleaning) - Victim (female, 27) accepts Feb 4th 2012 free flight from Wisconsin to NYC - Perp blindfolds, gags, chains to radiator, beas, & rapes victim over 8 days - Perp allows victim to leave for her job in a Manhattan restaurant - Victim returns from Manhatten to Brooklyn - Victim calls mom who calls NYCPD who find her trembling in perp's bed - Handcuffs, a ball-gag, whip and a rope were found in the residence - Woman had rectal haemorrhaging & bruising - Two different stories emerge - He says the girl was in NYC with him for several weeks - He says he called the mom, not she - He says it was a role-playing ad she responded to While this is a he-says she-says issue for the courts to decide, what I don't understand is why certain key features of the story are wholly missing (which 'somebody' must easily know). What confuses me most is that when I google for details, all I find are the same missing data. Anyone know more about this one?
