Has anyone here ever had vaser liposuction done? Especially on the lower abdomen? I'm looking into having it done, I've read all the info available about it, found a doctor to perform it. So now I'm looking for personal reviews.

Did you like the results? Was there a really noticeable difference? Have any problems or a lot of pain? Basically...was it worth it? Any other info would be great too.

Yes, I am interested as well...and the injections for local areas. Speedy healing, Littlewonder!

I have to listen to the stupid promotional video every month in the waiting room of the place I get laser hair removal done. If I remember right it involves very tiny inconsequential incisions and the recovery time is really fast with AMAZING RESULTS! ZOMG. Info is probably really bias (so don't pay much attention to what I said) and it's not something I really pay attention to though sorry : (

Edit: spoke too soon. You're talking about something else. Ads I saw were for laser liposuction.

thanks guys. I can't wait to get this done. I have been complaining for years about the little "pooch" I have from having a child years ago. I finally convinced Master to allow me to get it done. Yay! Plus it will give me motivation to tone the rest of my body I think. I would love to be able to hear other personal reviews though before I get it done to make sure it works as well as I've seen of the photos online.

I havent done that, but if i wanted opinions from women that have had various surgeries done, i would google forums specific to plastic/cosmetic surgery and/or lipo.. imo, by finding well visited and commented forums (independent would be best), there is where you will find all manner of dos and donts and people giving you the real life info that might help you.. That is what i would do, some also will have comments on various doctors.. And some of those forums, the women might have posted pics of themselves at various stages of healing or before/after also which can help give you more insight..

One thing tho, if you have a pooch, is just lipo going to have the result you want or would having a tummy tuck have a better result? I bring it up simply cuz if you lose the fat, the skin might have been too stretched and without a tuck, you might have "wrinkles" from the stretched skin not being able to shrink enough.. My understanding of a tummy tuck is the fat is removed also in addition to removing extra stretched skin..

Whatever you do, hope it all turns out well for you..

I don't think I need a tummy tuck. I have pretty resilient skin yet and it's not that big a pooch that it would leave wrinkled skin. I've looked on the other forums that you mentioned. There's not really a lot of info on vaser lipo. Sure there are pics online but most are on the doctors' websites which imo, can be biased. I had planned to get the tummy tuck until I heard about this and saw pics online of those around the same shape and size as myself who looked absolutely stunning after having it done.

It will be sooo nice to be able to wear clothes again that I refuse to wear now because I'm not flat there, like below the waist jeans and skin tight dresses lol.

I was just looking to see if anyone here has had it done just out of curiosity. I figured since I was here, why not?

I never did either until a local doctor was running an ad for half off the original price for one area to be done. So I looked to see exactly what it was, checked out the doctor and was amazed by it so I decided to get the discount. I have been wanting lipo or a tummy tuck for a long long time so I'm thrilled I'm allowed to get this.

lol...sure, why not? I have no intention of using the fat for anywhere else. I want rid of as much as possible on my body lol. I don't need anymore anywhere else.

I haven't had this procedure, but I have had a tummy tuck. Tummy tuck is NOT a fat removal procedure. While fat is removed during this, it is not intended to be used for that purpose. I know some people have done just that, but you can tell. A tummy tuck is specifically geared towards removing loose skin.

I thought the Vaser lipo looked pretty cool. I thought the before and after pictures I saw were pretty awesome. I think that they should definitely use this procedure in conjunction with tummy tucks in order to do a more streamlined contouring job.

I had thought about getting a tummy tuck until I saw this procedure and I think this is exactly what I need. I'm not a big girl and I don't have a lot of loose skin. I just have a pooch from having a child over 20 years ago now. No matter what I do I can't get rid of it. Hopefully this will work though. If it works like the before and after pics, I'll be elated and it will save me thousands of dollars.

I was a little concerned about all the stock photos on the home page but the B&As look very real. Will the doctor let you talk to former patients?

I have no idea. I know he has a portfolio with before and after photos. I haven't seen him yet. I'll be doing that next week. I'm really excited about it and keeping my fingers crossed.

I have a consultation this evening and if all goes well I'll probably be getting it done by this week or next and let ya all know how it went. I was hoping to get some info from my primary doctor yesterday when I saw her but being she doesn't do plastic surgery or anything like that, she had never heard of it. She just shook her head and said "you don't need it, but if it makes you happy...". LOL. She's young, like 28-30, and has never had children and she doesn't have that little pooch in the front since she's a skinny minny, so I don't think she quite gets it. heh
