You're kidding me right?

Riggs was 55 and King was 29. Please, She played like crap and he played even worse.

BUT... since you bring it up... In 1992 Jimmy Connor's at the age of 40 played Martina Navratilova who was 35, in a match with a significant handicapped given to Martina. Navratilova who had won Wimbledon, two years earlier and had been in the finals of The US Open, in September of 1991..... you might want to check on how that one went.


But I am not talking about Women playing on the Men's tours, I am talking about allowing men to play on women's tours. I'm sure you are all for that right? I mean if they are good enough to compete in that level....

Yeah, in base ball there are never plays at the plate in baseball and guys never try to take out a fielder turning a double play.

As to tennis...if Women could play on the Men's tour, they would be clamoring to do so.

Since Women cannot compete at the Men's level, I am shocked that you are not advocating lesser Men's players, going on the Women's tour.

Status: offline 		Bobby Riggs was over 20 years her senior. He was a tennis hustler who had beaten Margaret Court (#2 woman at the time). Billie Jean King then went after him with a vengence staying focused on their match. He had been big in tennis in 30's/40's this was early 70's

I am sorry you missed the point of my post.
Lets try again.
How long did men's professional tennis take to produce bobby riggs and "jimmy the mouth"?
Womens professional tennis is somewhat younger would you not agree?
Yet in the two cases cited above the women showed an improved game. How long till there is a skill equality...time will tell.
Where would the women of professional tennis fit in the list of men's pro tennis? Would all of the men be at the top and all of the women be at the bottom?
You will have to admit that some of the women will beat some of the men. Are they ready for equal competition???I do not think so but they are closing the gap. As to men playing in the womens league...ask yourself why there is a womens league. To answer that, would you have the varsity team play the jv? Is it possible that jv exists to prep the more skilled to play varsity?

My question was what was brett's time in the hundred. Clearly you do not know.
The football team that my mother cooked for in the 50's(santa ana jc "dons") had a 9.2 water boy(elligibility problems).
What are the 100 m. times for all major leagers? Where do flo jo's times fit into that list? How do you know what kind of pitches flo jo could hit?
I am comparing speed to speed not sprinters to sprinters or apples to waffles.
