Ok, here goes. I know the safety police will be out but suturing the labia is really no different than play piercing or needles to the labia. Attention must be taken to the preperation of the area the one preforming the suturing should wear gloves. The biggest obstical will be for that person to resist playing with other parts (such as the clit) to prevent contamination of the cleaned area. The easiest needles to use are the straight ones (called keith needles) with black silk suture attached. More shallow stitches work best as opposed to taking deep stitches. The reason for that is the labia lays flatter and you get a much neater suture line. Part of the process is the mindspace for both top and bottom and the attention to detail.

Now if you had a sadistic top, he would have someone feeding you water while doing the procedure, take a good long time getting you sutured, then make you wait a bit to pee. Of course part of that waiting with a full bladder much be a paddling or canning... and careful inspection of their work!

I can only speak for myself, as I am one of the safety police. My only concern was that the person doing this had no idea what type of sutring material to use, which led me to the conclussion that she hadn't done this type of thing and was going in blind. Which, I'm sorry, I think is just foolish.
She could do it under the direction of someone familiar with this sort of thing, some one familiar with sutring/needle play. As I said, and so did others, the OP may want to consider some one with a little experience under their belt.
