Wow, three responses to just one of mine.  I feel so spechul.

It matters NOT what it was called, the condition has always existed.  It is not restricted to BDSM, but can occur after anything that replicates the same conditions in the brain.

And yes, you apparently have been clueless for over 30 years.  I have not speaking of your sudden enlightenment, I am speaking of the lifetime of experience you say you have.

Its a chemical reaction that can manifest in both physical and emotional responses, some react more than others.

Same as some need reassurance and closeness, while others just want
left the hell alone.

Very true this statement you have kindly made, that is why a Dominant / Master must truly know his slave, there is those who just as you say ( just want
left the hell alone.)

The chemical reaction has to be identified, most men just are not qualified, but this Master has short commings but is certainly qualified but must put his mind to it more.

I wouldnt go so far as to say it is "a woman thing" I have seen men drop just as hard, in some cases harder, than I have women. I have just seen women drop more often.

I think you mean you are not him. As Bob is older than you are so he could not be you. The same with the others you named. Though bringing up Freud's name explains a lot. As for Elmo. Elmo is a baby and does not know better than to speak in the way he does.

I am trying to remember how long I have heard it called sub drop. It seems like a very long time to me, but maybe things are different on your side of the world?

Do you speak in third person to your subs? That could be a reason for her getting so exhausted. Could explain the sleeping too.

Personally, I have found that dropping subs, unless from a very small height, isn't a lot of fun; it really takes a toll on the girls.

Actually, I thought this whole thread was about a sub being dropped ... I mean SUB DROP was in capital letters which led me to think it was an emergency. I can't believe I read all the way to then (ok, skimmed to the end) to realize that no sub had been dropped. Whew!!!! I mean, I was really worried.

I guess it depends on just how masochistic the submissive is before you go dropping them from any height. [:)]

That's so not true. I go into space nearly every time I play, at times very deeply so. I have never waited 24 hours to drive after that. After I start coming around a bit, I drink plenty of fluids, and eat fruit, sweets and protein. It's usually more like 2-4 hours after that I drive, but I am alert and careful and do just fine. I also am required to call or text one or more people to let them know I'm home safe.

Understand that not all slaves/submissives/bottoms are the same. We are individual people and as such what we need and want will vary greatly.
