I dunno. I have come to the mindset that, I welcome those profiles. To anyone with a brain, they are glaringly obvious. To the seemingly ever increasing number of dumbasses, they are not. So in my mind, the scammers and the findoms are just keeping the dumbasses busy. Leaving the rest of us alone!

Win win for me.

As for the OP and following posts........I am going to say that the combined posts of Stella, LadyP, and Steven, covered anything else I was going to say. Based upon what I've read on this thread, the OP himself couldn't pass any test I would create to limit who enters these hallowed halls. I fucking hate whiners.

Holiday weekend here in the US - boards are slow.

I had my first swim in the lake at Mom's yesterday - damn early for Massachusetts! Now I have to dig out my waterproof mp3 player to keep me company for a longer swim today - it takes me an hour to get to the other end and back.

Once in a blue moon I vent about something. Other than that I generally ignore the bs.

You can insult all you wish. It doesn't bother me in the least because you haven't taken the time to get to know me, and therefore your opinion doesn't really matter. Just like My opinion doesn't really matter to most on here.

I don't believe most of the crap I see on here.

But in regards to the comment asking about what I do for the lifestyle? Here is what I do for the lifestyle...
I am OPEN about being in the lifestyle. I don't hide it. I don't keep it as a dirty little secret. I talk about it with anyone and everyone. And I do my best to enlighten those around me that are not into the lifestyle. While I am relatively antisocial at heart, I do my best to make sure anyone that has a question about the lifestyle gets it answered and that they get the facts about it.

Like I said everyone that knows me knows I am in the lifestyle, most are not comfortable with it. But a few have realized it is not a bunch of wackos beating each other to a pulp.

So what do I do for the lifestyle I work to educate the vanillas about what the lifestyle really is. Despite the bs it causes for me. I put myself out there in the public view so the public can learn. There are already plenty of people teaching those within the lifestyle. We need more people to be honest about who they are and to teach the rest of the world about the lifestyle so that people can feel more confident about embracing their desires and sexuality.

It may not be much but if enough people are open about it then eventually people won't have to hide who they are. My hope is that one day it will be as accepted by the public as anything else.
I even had a bumper sticker on my car that said "Don't worry, it's only kinky the first time" That was actually put there by one of my managers at work.

That is what I hope to see.....

What I expect to see is our puritanical society in this country continuing to crush any attempt to live outside the "norm"

I am an optimistic pessimist

I keep hoping for the best but I believe the worst is still going to happen.

Now I am off to have fun.

Sometimes it's good for entertainment but honestly, the OP is so full of posturing and entranced with his Uber-Domliness that he seems more like a generic Dom cardboard cutout than anything else.

Righty, I've slogged through most of your posts b/c in theory at least, I agree with you.

Even if the 19 year old cutesy in the photo is real (in terms of an actual picture of the fin domme wannabe), I agree, the chances of them having the expertise to be a pro is minimal at best. Is it moral for them to be presenting themselves as something they are not? In my mind, no.

But I'm not the morality police, and neither are you.

I look to my *own* sense of honor and integrity, and allow others to do the same.

You mentioned at some point you have a "hero" complex. It is my opinion that many dominants have a "savoir" or as I call it a "Messiah" complex. I used to. I thought I knew so much I could save other people from themselves. I have learned the hard way, I can't.

You cannot save someone who doesn't want to be saved. Full stop.

Now, the issue of can you "break" them? Sure, most people, myself included, can be broken if you choose the correct tool to do so. So what? That people are people and, as such, have personal weaknesses than can be exploited is not news.

Which brings me full circle to the purpose of your thread creation and many posts. Much rhetoric with minimal substance does not a "super dom" make.

I have to admit that I am interested to know which of the little 18 year old, 5'2", 120 lb, barely old enough to drive much less drink, findommes gave you instructions on how to fold your opinion into sharp little points and shove it where it would hurt a whole lot. How long did you talk to "her" before you figured out you couldn't reach into a computer and change her behaviour? How much did it really bother you to know that though this one is most likely fake that there just could be an 18 year old female out there somewhere that thinks she has a right to talk to a man like that?

You said anyone can be broken. On this I agree with you but wonder if you are aware this means you too can be broken. And if you do know that why do you care about scammers on the net or kids playing games. Move on. Live your life. Do not try to live theirs.

quote:

basically within a month of being theirs she planned to have her body destroyed and made useless for doing anything other than propping a door open

As for this ^ little quote I might agree with you that no one should just allow their body to be changed in this manner but I do not think that you realize that you just said if a woman can't have sex she has no use other than as a door stop. To say nothing of the fact that you don't seem to understand that many people get online so they can rattle off their fantasy rather than their reality. Again move on, live your life, not theirs.

If you have real suggestions you believe would make the site better you should share them with the admin on the other side. Neither the mods or the posters on this side have any control over how that side is run.

And hey for the record I don't believe all men belong on the end of leashes either I just believe.....*oh*....wait....maybe I do believe that

Honestly, I think most of them are players. It is not about chest thumping.

It is not necessarily about style of domination. It is about knowledge, experience and respect for the lifestyle and for the people in it.

I think they lack all the above and see the lifestyle as a easy way to make money without bothering to truly learn anything about it or experiencing it for real.

Thus showing they don't deserve to be on the site. They are leeches and parasites.

As for the putting them on their knees maybe it is a bit over the top...-shrugs-...But they should learn there are consequences for their actions.

And yes I am aware there are probably a few that actually are serious about the lifestyle. But they are few and far between.

As far as the paying part...if I was assured the people were real and serious about the lifestyle then I would have no issue paying for access. Assurances that the people that I am dealing with are real and truly interested in the lifestyle is worth paying for. Unfortunately I haven't seen a pay site that offers such either. So we get stuck with a plethora of twits.

For the record I don't believe every woman belongs on their knees. Just most of them. -grins-

TX, that all may or may not be true (i'm sure it is for at least some).

but i ask you, what's the point of posting about it? seems like a zero gain and whiny, since i'm sure you're intelligent enough to realize that there's nothing that can be realistically done, esp on a free site. and still more, you should know there's nothing wrong with a free market that allows people to choose who they want to dominate them, for WIITWD.

*Looks at everyone* No, I have nothing to say this time. The OP has done enough.

Gawd. You should see my inbox. I'm not talking about the duck-faced 21 year olds, I'm talking about the grizzled, tawdry crones (and the people I'm talking about *are* usually women, I'm pretty sure), who will try the bait and switch trick and, when it fails, then try to convince me that, as a male sub and therefore a pervert and a failure as a male, they're the best I could ever expect to get. You don't know whining till you see that, believe me.

So how long do you think it would take for most of these "Financial Dommes" (the ones barely old enough to drink) to break and submit if challenged face to face?
No idea, but I doubt you'd enjoy it as much as you think since most of them are middle aged men running a con.
