On a related note, now that I'm upfront about it, it's usually submissive males who call me "fake" or "a scam" or the like. With the pretentious profile, it was usually dominant women.

Probably just coincidences, but interesting nonetheless.

That is rather interesting...

To be fair, I do only have a professional image up... but I've definitely popped on cam and waved for a few potential finsubs.

Also to be fair, the "dominant women" may have been men/sock accounts/other. I tend to not try to convince them otherwise when the conversation starts that way.

I agree with the verification for a few seconds for certain things. I have voice verification on My profile. If this isn't enough, they can move on. Now once a sub shows Me he is genuine I have no problems showing Myself on cam. And I agree with Ilayda, I won't try to convince them otherwise.

@Whiplash - I don't know either. I figure if they investigate first, they would get it. My journal is prettyreal...it has events with subs, situation related to my clipstore, maybe one or two "gimme" entries, but you can clearly tell it's not all "send me payapl" entries. My pics are genuine and I do have proof pics. I have well established circle of firends. I am in clips in a clipstore that verfies my account by name. I don't have a cam yet, but I meet in person. And my about me isn't too needy/greedy. But...it's like they ignore all of it. They see I am young and not ugly and assume I am fake right away.

Or, like TNDommeK says, some want to try to bully me into doing something they want. And when it doesn't happen...they report me and then block me. If you ask me, the reporting feature is kind of bs. They can report you for whatever they want and it's not monitored by anyone. Once the reports add up...goodbye profile. It's very aggresive. I don't care if they block me, good riddance! But just like two days ago, some guy I had NEVER spoken to, was spamming all active users online that I was fake and to report me. Several people did! A few heard me out, i sent proof pics, and they agreed the guy was a moron, but still...how many might have reported me that day? I confronted him after someone gave me his name, and he told me to get off the site, it doesn't need fakes like me. I sent him a pic and asked him to stop. He replied saying I was really good with photshop "dude", good luck with the next fake profile. Then I got pissed and sent him a link to my clip and was like "did I photoshop myself into this ballbusting clip too?" and he blocked me. I have no idea how many people he got to report me and no way to defend against it. I just have to take it and that really sucks. :(

That is what should be reported. People sending fucked up emails to people. Now if we report stuff like that, it would be excessive. Thus the reason I constantly say there are all kinds of people who like all kinds of things. If one doesn't like it..simply move on. I think a lot of times people who keep up shit with the same things are people who honestly have no life outside the computer and are wanting any type of attention. I could be wrong but I can't come up with anything different.

Financial dommes are not real dommes. They never have been. They never will be. They can be easily (VERY easily) controlled by money. I can lead them just about anywhere with my wallet, so they are under my complete control. The idea that they're "dommes" is laughable. They're just greedy chicks, at best, and many are men pretending to be greedy chicks. Jerking them around so they think they're going to make money off you is amusing. But in the end they're just low-life bottom feeders.

I strongly disagree.

For starters, you assume that financial dommes are all one dimensional with one audience or niche. That would be like saying someone who ballbusts for example, has no other domme interests. I enjoy financial domination for both the control and of course for the material rewards. But if the guy is a dickhead, I could give a shit about his money. I won't play with him. In your case...if you come on pretending to be a sub...try and make me chase a carrot I can't get...that just makes you not a true sub. You came on and DECEIVED me, telling me you are a sub and want me to control you. I try to take the role and you lie and lead me on and then consider yourself in control? That is simply disrespectful to my time. I don't feel less like a domme, but you seem more like a timewasting jerk.

Some guys really enjoy the feeling of giving in thier finances toa girl they "can't" resist. It's like being a sugardaddy, but with a submissive twist. Maybe it's roleplay. Maybe it's real. But the fact is, it shouldn't matter to you. If you don't enjoy it...then just don't talk to me. Why harass or try and top me? Some people like to be tied up. Some people like to be hit. Some people like to be shit on. And some people like to surrender authority of thier money , THE KEY TO THIER ABILITY TO LIVE DAY TO DAY, over to someone more dominant/attractive then they are. That is a lot of power to hand someone and a lot of implied trust. I think that is a very strong form of domination and submission, contrary to what you say.

Are there greedy girls with no actual interest in what drives the D/s finncial relationship? sure there are. There is always someone trying to cash in on something they don't understand. But that doesn't mean all findommes are fake shallow sluts or crafty middle aged men. If done right, it can be very real and rewarding for both parties I think.

On a sperate note though, if some decent respectful sub wants to give me something with no effort on my part...why would I say no? I won't understand it, but I won't say no either. I am still a girl and I like gifts, haha. :)

File this under: Who gives a fuck?

If you get arrogant email, block the sender.

If you don't like financial domme profiles, don't look at them.

If you don't like how collarme does things, leave and start you own site.

Don't appoint yourself of "the next generation of lifestylers" -- a lot of those dommes don't give a fuck about "the lifestyle" and the rest of future lifestylers will do fine without you.

So bottom line: quick being a pretentious bore.

Yeah, the Internet sucks that way. You condescend to share your wisdom with the masses, expecting them to beg you to start a cult so they can worship you as god. Instead, those pesky masses laugh at your wisdom.

I understand, babe. Go lick those wounds. You are a prophet in your own time; it's just you're the only one who knows it.

Um Lily, don't feed the trolls. Clearly this is a bottom feeder looking for a free lashing out. But I liked what you said.

Edited to say: People fear what they don't understand. Always have, always will. Well, except those smart enough to have an open mind and figure things out on their own, instead of make empty assumptions and accusations about things they are clearly ignorant on.

You're right, you're right. I shouldn't feed the trolls. I just don't get the hostility on this message board. I posted in another forum asking for advice on how to do something...and instead of giving me advice, I was mocked for trying to do something I don't know how to do yet and told I need to learn to be a "real domme". Which was the whole point of me asking the question in the first place...to learn. I don't get these people.

Well that guy who posted is clearly not a regular here. Look at the number of posts people have and ask them, also check out the people who post on a regular basis. They might be more inclined to help. There are nice ones of us here, and there are some that come with a bit of snark, but as I always say, different personalities make good entertainment. Besides, we'd all be boring if we were the same. Curious, what was your question about?

Edited to say: I saw your forum posts, there was some good advice given by Chatte Parfaitt. It is hard as a young Domme starting out, but you are right, somewhere you have to start learning. It is good that you are actually wanting to learn instead of thinking you already know everything.

PrincessLily91,
I have not issues with Fin Dommes. I like the USA in the fact if somone is willing to pay for something and there is a buyer, its a win win.

Do yourself a favor though and change your profile pic. The loser sign has been out of fad for a while now. Just a piece of advice. Take it or leave it.

Do take that advice he just gave you. The pic you have with your face close to the camera is very nice.

Those shots and flipping the middle finger is so played out.

I know, haha. I put that picture up because guys were saying I took some fbook pics from "some girl" and I was fake. So I put that up to show I have something related to what I write about. It's lame, but I like it better than flipping the bird.

Making a profile is so...political. :/ hah

Seems like it, but it helps to set yourself above what is typical.

Try sending this info plus the username in question to VideoAdminGamma and see if she can get the reports from this day removed.

What he did is blacklisting and against the TOS.

Lily, the journal entry you have that names the person you say was blacklisting you is itself a form of blacklisting. You might want to edit it to remove his name.

Try taking a step back and rereading with out taking personally to see if you can see where they are coming from. There's more good advice there now too.
