ORIGINAL: LaMalinche As an academic question. . . what should a person do if they know that the person online is a rapist/pedopile/psycho/murderor/in general bad guy. . . or girl. . . how should or how would one deal with this? Well, my first question would be: how do you KNOW? If they are a murderer and back in society after prison, they have done their time and paid their debt to society. In that case, live and let live. What if some 18 yr old kid was convicted of 'rape' of a 17 year old neighbor...but it was consensual, and her parents brought the suit? He is convicted, but he didn't FORCE her. What if someone thought you were 'bad'? How would you want them to handle it -online? Or would you hope they would STFU and leave you alone? Unless you have the first hand knowledge and the paperwork to back it up, you should leave them alone.
