Status: offline 		The operative phrase in your message (for me) is "I took some time to get to know them" which is essentially my argument here in this thread.

But how do we "get to know" somebody who is consciously manipulating someone to believe whatever they think a CM member wants?

And when you discover that you are being manipulated by a dishonest person, then why not share that info?

When I was actually searching for a Master I took some time to get to know them, spoke on the phone, and arranged to meet them in person for a cup of coffee in a vanilla public place. If they had no intentions of meeting for anything more than coffee or a single drink, then they weren't genuine to me. I don't play causally so the idea of playing on a first meet was out of the question.

If they were asshats or douchebags, I hid, block, deleted. Those buttons actually work, ya know.

But many guys are not into BDSM or Master/slave as an ongoing relationship. They see it as recreational NSA sex so that is why I presume ALL of us are on CM i.e. we are looking for someone who enjoys this lifestyle?

From the bits I have read the OP is offended by this? There was a lot so I may have missed something. I am sure I am not the only one who is careful about pictures and personal information. Even on Facebook and my parenting message boards I am very careful.

I think that is what several people have an issue with - that the OP in his profile says:

1. I am HIV-positive. If you are neg, you must be ok with bbsex.

So he needs either a HIV Pos partner OR someone that is willing to contract HIV to be with him. Not sure in the USA but here in the UK knowingly giving someone else HIV can be seen as an offence.

Piss carrys pathogens.

And Bare Back Sex, ESPECIALLY Anal is about as risky as you can get.

I was staying away from the whole wanting to pass on HIV thing however it is amazingly selfish to desire to in my book

I answered this long ago. Anyone is welcome on this site, anyone looking for anything. You are not the dictator on how people may use this site. Some people just want a NSA boink and their purpose here is no less important than yours. People who want to use kinky implements and fuck have just as much reason to be here. Whether you agree with that or not doesn't matter. There are no inherent guidelines here that dictate that all users must look for a D/s long term relationship.

It's just like free speech, Mr. Married Pretend Dom who is looking for an online wank is just as entitled to be here as Mr. Serious Single Dom looking for a real life relationship. If either of them uses manipulation to achieve their goal is beside the point and that part is on the person they are interacting with to detect- its not the responsibility of the site to protect the users. That would actually be impossible to do.

The general thinking in the medical community is that HIV-positive but undetectable people have a very low prospect of infecting anyone. One prominent Swiss HIV specialist told an annual AIDS Conference a few years ago that his research established it was virtually impossible for undetectable poz individuals to transmit the disease.
